I've actually used stp oil treatment to get me back to the house- it worked so good I drove it a couple more weeks until I secured a rebuilt bottom end.

Make sure you swap oil pickups when you swap oil pans. The pickups are different lengths and can cause your engine to prematurely blow

Find some coyote rods and some diamond pistons, toss them on the factory crank, will be good for 600
