- In this video, I show you round my 94' Renault Clio Williams 1 #106.
I'll show you whats been done, whats left to do, and cover the modifications I have done and why I have done them as i get asked fairly often.

stunning example. i had a mint williams 3 many years ago, wish i hadnt sold it. one of my favourite all time cars. had a clio 16v prior to that, and have had 2 ph1 172s and 2 clio 172 cups, still have the cup as a toy for weekends. renault make epic hot hatches.

Love it mate, I used to have the 1.8 16 valve in blue until someone backed into me!😡😡. Definitely wanting another one for sure!!
Yeah, I've had a couple of 16v clio's over the years. The prices of those are rising and they're getting harder to find!

Nice Vid Dunc. She a minter. Maybe do a video why the 1764 engine got change by Renault to 1998cc. I'm sure you know the story. And maybe explain how it went on to be the F7R in the Megane 1 Coupe, and then the F4R in the 172 - etc.

Yeah, I'll do a video further down the line going through how and why the williams came about with more detail regard numbers of cars made and differences between the 1 l, 2 and 3. But this vid was just an intro to my car 👍

Brand new original genuine Renault one? And are they Williams 1 inserts? I could be interested if they are for sale!

I would be almost certain that all clio williams (at least the mk1) had electric mirrors ( the ones fitted to the clio 1 baccara, where the williams parcel shelve also comes from) i have a wiliams 1 and it has electric mirrors, maybe it was optional?
Thank you, glad you like my williams. Williams 1 only came with manual mirrors. It was the only clio mk1 to come with manual phase 1 mirrors that had the colour coded caps on them. No other models had this combination. Not sure why yours has electric mirrors, maybe fitted at a later date?
@@ddmdrive you are right, it is only the baccara that had the coloured short mirrors with electric adjustment.
Williams 2s and 3s came with electric mirrors. All manual on the 1.
Hi where did you source the wheels & spacers? So I presume you can now run the maxi 4 pots ..
Hi there. The wheels were direct from Speedline UK themselves. They're really helpful. They even told me about the spacers/fitting kit. They were from a company called Bordanova Sport over in France. They still make a lot of parts for the Group A Clio's for rallying etc. Hope this helps.
Where are you getting the cill stickers from ?
They're available from Renault Parts Direct. Not cheap mind you LOL

Hi, sorry only just seen this. Mine was painted by Autowerx in Milton Keynes. A friend of mine uses them for all his cars and he is fussy! 😂
