  • Adrien Broner seems to be finally making a genuine attempt at an actual comeback. Taking a challenging fight against 16-1 Blair The Flair Cobbs on a Don King Promotions card. You might have seen Broner training with Gervonta Tank Davis recently or the comments he made at the press conference, so to answer your questions we have a look at the fight which has slipped under many peoples radar, how it's come to be and why it's worth a watch.

I honestly thought Don King died a while back, but it's crazy that he's 92 years old!

Blair Cobbs actually had a comeback fight after his loss to Alexis Rocha against Former World Champ, Maurice Hooker, putting on a pretty solid performance.

I'm kinda tired of the mentality of Boxing fans have. They (not all) think one loss is the end of their career and they wont ever get back their belt or be considered great anymore.

Yeah thats one of the main issues as to why boxers never fight each other. They’re scared to lose their 0

In a world where there’s a legit debate on whether a former four-division champion will prevail against someone who previously seemed more interested in using boxing as a springboard to the WWE, then Broner’s already lost. Even if he wins.

I respect what Broner is doing but having Don King as your manager after all those lawsuits and allegations has to be the most dumbest move i've seen. I still find it crazy how this man is STILL managing Fighters DESPITE his infamy and should've been banned from this sport since the lawsuits

Not to mention he has been PROMOTING fights since 1954… I’m in my 30s and he was promoting fights before my parents were even alive… the man’s a vampire who sucks the life out of his fighters…

He was a good/smart boxer. He just let the attention, clout, fame get to him. Didn’t take the sport serious.

Broner VIA Decision Cobbs is more predictable then anyone else Broner has fought and Broner let his hands fly in training a lot more then he did when he was younger and in his last fight he threw more power punches then he was known for, So even though he is 34 he has more experience and seems to be more motivated then The Flair.

Broner is a good fighter, in his prime at 140 hes a better fighter than Ryan or Haney he'd give anybody trouble at 140 bow but idk what weight he even fights at now honestly. Last time i saw him he was fat
