@@jonahzendera2764and on top of that when he was going up to fight bigger guys, which could take more punishment so if Floyd still fought like his old self, he would of lost and maybe retired way before his actual retirement since with the Pretty Boy style he liked to brawl with fighters even if he won the round already. So most likely with that style his hands would be like Joe calzagkie and would of took way more damage than he did from his career
02:05 This is crazy, This Artem guy was smiling and congratulating Shakur like it was less than a sparring session. Shakur is a great boxer, with crazy talent but the kid can`t sell fights, blaming his opponent is crazy, hope he snaps out of this ego
Most boring fighter. My favorite part about Saturdays fight is that he went on a 4 hour Twitter rant right after. Cursing out anybody that called out his performance. This kid has no manners
shakur is a great outboxer, he does the concept of hitting and staying out of the opponent's range. the issue here is what everyone pointed out, yes he is great in technicality but him having no knockout power or risky technique counters is whats making him boring. he always walks back, his outboxing is text book, very text book. i still believe on what cus d'amato said when it comes to boxing, at the end of the day boxing is entertainment. i will say this, he has a great future if he retires boxing. albiet boring, but he will retire healthy due to the fact he rarely gets hit compared to tank, haney, garcia or teofimo
Problem is just like cus said, boxing is entertainment. If you aren't entertaining, how do you expect to make the big/unification fights with lacking performances. Shakur will be healthy but if when he retires, his legacy won't be as great as his peers, Loma, Tank, Dev, Teo, Cruz and possibly even Keyshawn if he keeps at it.
Zepeda and Shakur both fought on the same day but not each other...I don't think that fight will happen next. Too risky for Shakur, and Oscar De La Hoya wants to protect his big Mexican star too until he starts getting more name recognition (which is not far away). I think I heard Zepeda vs Pitbull next, and Shakur will probably just kill time or stay busy until Tank and Loma fight and then see.
I think shakur needs to take more risk if he wants to make money go for more combinations make ur defense a bit more flash his defence isnt fun to watch like boots or teo all he does it step back
Shakur by Decision was free. Also your fellow Aussie Sam Goodman just won a dominate decision🔐. I think you should breakdown his upcoming fight with Naoya Inoue. (If it happens.)
this the guy that said he can beat anybody in his division he just gotta say forget the fans. he needs to switch his style and risk it I'm sure there are fighters that can beat him and get him paid but they don't wanna chase him around the ring for 10 rounds when they just ko someone in round 7 and get the crowd hype
Mayweather didn’t knock people out all the time he hugged a lot and yet people still consider him great. Shakur is the same way, he’s not a knockout artist he beats u on skills alone, he just needs to be tested against the top rn. Teofimo,Haney, tank,Loma, pitbull
When Flyod was Shakurs size he was knocking dude out left and right, he didn’t become like that until he broke his hands over the years and went out into middleweight where he didnt have the power to knock those guys out.
I can guarantee you, undefeated is meaningless if you aren't as big of a risk taker as anyone else. Rocky Marciano was a heavyweight, fought big names at his era, and remained undefeated because of the risk he took. Finito Lopez was undefeated, in the lower weight classes, and was a big risk taker as everyone he fought. Joe Calzaghe, undefeated, has broken hands which is why he has less power, fought 3 opponents that where at the closing of their careers, and yet he took the risk because he knows how great they are and he still fought them even with little to no power. Floyd Mayweather, GOAT in boxing, great business man, undefeated, and is both loved and hated by the people. Even through all of that, he is still remembered through his sweet science, skills, and GOAT defense. The difference between Shakur and the guys above me I've mentioned, they are not only risk takers. Those guys are entertainers, warriors, and legends made by blood, sweat, and tears that Shakur barely or doesn't has.
he needs to get the WBO belt then go for a undisputed unification bout with the winner of tank/loma win for legacy win for money then defend against the loser of tank/loma
This is what happens when you allow amateur shenanigans in pro sports. This guy puts on sparring sessions. You're not a pro if you're afraid of a knockout.
The KO artists get all the attention such as Tank, Mike Tyson, Deontay Wilder, George Foreman, etc. But the best pure boxer is always the last man standing such as Ali, Floyd Mayweather, Andre Ward, Usyk, Lennox Lewis, and next is Shakur.
(read the whole comment before u start telling at me🙄) something that kinda bothers me is when people say "oh he's always been boring". I just don't think that's true personally, his style jus isn't for everyone. Shakur used to be a DAWG, I go back and watch his tear through 130 constantly. even some of his 126 fights earlier in his career were pretty fun to watch too. Which makes his 135 fights all the more frustrating to me😭😭😭 he's only what? 26? 27? He's still so young and has to energy and the abilities to be an exciting fighter. he coulda gotten him outta there and jus didn't😭 he wasn't injured, Harutanyan was in front of him ALL night, shak wasn't getting hit at all so what the fuck?😂 this especially hurts to say cuz Shakur one of my favorite fighters. But if I fall asleep again his next fight, or if he doesn't try to unify next fight, he'll lose a lot more fans💀. maybehe needs a change of environment, go back to Bo and Bud for his next camp idk 🤷🏽♂️
He took more risk back than cause he wasn’t threatened in any way by the fighters in the lower weight classes and his punches impacted that’s fighters more he has to get more aggressive he doesn’t have to change his style all he has to do is find that killer instinct when he has his opponents in a position to ko them. Sugar Ray wasn’t a power puncher so he got many of his KO’s with flurries and combos
He would kill Frank and he actually has power it just that from that Philly shell he doesn’t generate power with his punches cause the stance is inherently defensive he needs to sit down on his punches once he has his opponents in a bad spot
Shakurs attitude is the way it is because he was raised by a single mother. She's most likely treated him like a baby and kissed his ass most of her life.
The other day I saw a comment saying: These kids want to be Money Mayweather without being Pretty Boy Floyd first" ... I think that's accurate.
Even then they still hated Money May even though he had to adopt that style because of his brittle hands

That’s a stupid plan

Never heard of it

Floyd is not the goat.
he should’ve fought raymond muratalla instead of artem 😒
Don’t underestimate j prince
Shakur quite literally posted more tweets than punches landed. He will never be a PPV star.

What now? Hopefully him and Haney retire from boxing so we can see real fighters in the ring
He is garbage when it comes to professional boxing when it comes to Olympics and sparring in the gym he is a master which is useless in the real world
Saying a three division champ is garbage is crazy
Fight wasn't special? He won every round against an Olympic bronze medalist. Sorry bro but I can't support a channel like this.
He has no future in boxing .Fans will never like him
The most boring boxer I’ve ever seen. He has little to mo power. Overly defensive and hesitant. He will get killed against tank. Worst than Martin.
He would kill Frank and he actually has power it just that from that Philly shell he doesn’t generate power with his punches cause the stance is inherently defensive he needs to sit down on his punches once he has his opponents in a bad spot
