I’m 2 months in on my 2nd set. I had to cut my 1st set out bc of health issues. Everyone keeps asking me why I won’t wear a wig until it grows out, but it doesn’t bother me. Even when it sticks up all over the place I’m cool with it. It seems to upset family & friends more than me. I just roll with it.
Aw wow ! I hope all is well with you now . I know that must’ve been tough letting go of that 1st set . Yeah its really crazy how our personal decisions with our hair seem to rub others the wrong way 🤷🏽♀️. This journey is so much deeper than hair because it teaches you how to love yourself deeper than surface level qualities and such . Im really happy you decided to get another set ❤️
Thanks, I’m much better now🥳. I had my first set for 6 years and I started them on chin length hair. This set I I’ve only been growing my hair out for 5 months from being bald, so it’s pretty short. They way it looks doesn’t bother me bc I’m just happy that my hair actually grew back & that it’s strong and healthy🙏🏽. I’m definitely learning patience, and also gratitude. I’m grateful to be able to Loc again. I also have been through the Loc journey before, so I know what’s waiting on the other side😍.
I'm currently going through the transition phase and I had times where I felt like this was not for me but after watching a few videos and especially coming across yours I know this is just what I needed. Love the tips and hacks. Thank you so much and wishing you the best on your loc journey :)
Thank you, just started my locs Journey, 5days in, going through the TRANSITIONAL phase, you just taught me a new word, thank you, many blessings to you and your family
Amazing tips! I’m almost 2 months in. I have 102 loc. I had 360 before but combed them out. I’m loving this set I have now even tho I’m serving Porcupine realness
i keep doing this thing where i take my locs out before i hit my 1 year mark. i’ve had different set of locs 4 times now starting from when i was 14 all the way up to now, (i’m 16). my last set was 9 months old when i took them out. I really just need to stay consistent this time for real!
@@ninankechi you are my inspiration. Im getting them done on Wednesday. I hear I can still wear lace fronts and even sew ins if I want to change my look!
❤️ locs ❤makeup❤everything I’m in law enforcement and can’t wear cute hats, before I start my loc journey, I’ll be installing kinky twist for a few months.
Wow 😩❤️i completely understand! Ive been there a few times but i promise you , just trust the process ! The journey is so much more than just hair . It really teaches you that patience and imperfection is a beautiful thing .
@@ninankechi I just found your channel today and I must say it's loc'spirational. Just started my set with hair as short as yours and by the end of July I'll be one month loc'd.
@@ninankechi I was saying in general obviously. 🙄 There are still many many blacks who still say things like that about their hair or going through the loc journey in general. Stop tryna be rude.
@@empressmileenakahnummkxlshe wasn’t trying to be rude. It was a misunderstanding. Obviously she thought you was referring to her. You was not specific on who you were speaking to. You’re the one that was being rude in the first place.
