That smallmouth was one of the most stubborn fish I've hooked in a while. The leech actually didn't hurt at all, but it was pretty alarming to see it attached. I've done a lot of wet wading and this was the first time getting bitten by one. Thanks for watching!
That was a nice smallie congrats. Man if there leeches were I would wading I would def be wearing waders, but then again if it’s hot waders is prob not much of an option.

Yeah normally if I get into a pond or swamp I am wearing waders...but some of the later spots in the day were 'improvised,' so I wasn't prepared
