I too love the handwritten recipe cards. When my grandma passed away I got her recipe box! What a treasure! Having her handwriting kept her close to me and remembering the food she made, and we made together, was priceless!
I agree with you about the old handwritten recipes - would love to have one from my dear Grandma, who passed away 30 years ago - she was one of those southern cooks who never measured anything - the Graphic 45 papers are a perfect complement to the old binder - Hugs.
I know what you mean Cynthia. My little cajun granny was a wonderful cook and I have some of her handwritten recipes. This would be a treasured way to keep and pass them on my daughter when she grows up
Madilyn here, I had this wonderful recipe book in my cart and by the time I got through adding the info it was gone. Someone is very lucky today. I have your other 1930 Cookbook. But each one you do is so beautiful. I new it would sell fast. God is telling me to let someone else enjoy it.
Beautiful journal. I love the reinforcements you made from cardstock. I have lots of wallpaper and plan on making reinforcements from those. What a great idea!

Love this journal Diane!! Are you anywhere near Lancaster County Amish Country in PA?
No, I am just south of the New York border. I have been to Lancaster a few times, but it is about 4 hours away from me. I love it there, though!
@@DianeHubertPrettyPinkCottage yes! Visited there in February. Love the Amish lifestyle.
Where are you from? I live in Iowa. Do you do any weekend retreats?
