Arsenal fan here. I love CK and really rate her. I would fully embrace her coming back to Arsenal but I don't feel we need a player like her and I don't know how much game time she would get here. She would do better at going to a club like United or Brighton, even Spurs. I really hope she gets more game time because we all know that Sarina doesn't tend to pick players who don't play often for their clubs.
Kelly is quality & does NOT deserve to be left on the bench in any team in the world. I rate her ahead of Mary Fowler anyways, who is very much over-rated. Arsenal shld buy her ASAP. She started life as a Gunner anyway, so welcome back home Chloe!

No. It’s hard to imagine what the rift between her and Gaz could be about, but it appears a lost cause. All that said, Wolfsburg is another of my favourite clubs, and although the possibility hadn’t crossed my mind till you mentioned it, I could definitely see Chloe there! As you say, especially if Jule Band leaves (which she will do), Chloe could not only fill Brand’s shoes but do so in a better and more consistent manner.Anyway, that’s my 2 pence. Cheers!

Absolutely needs a move to the States or elsewhere in Europe. Getting this feeling that there's a sense of not just dissatisfaction at City for her but that's she's at the point of being comfortably unhappy if that makes sense. Could very easily have this role at City, get paid decently to not play and be there the rest of her career, but very understandably has a lot to prove and is a competitor.

Don't know exactly what's happened but GT has stated recently that CK is recovering from recurring issues from a concussion, she has missed several days of training because of it. City has to follow the concussion protocol for her to be cleared to return to play.
City would be dumb to let her go. It's not like they have all these world class players and there's no way CK can't get in. Now if the manager has made up his mind, I guess it is what it was, but very dumb if City let her go. Kelly to Brighton perhaps? She would suit their style of play
This situation makes me side-eye Gareth. It’s pretty clear she’s not getting any minutes because there’s some personal conflict between them. The fact that Sarina still calls her up to the national team despite her lack of club playing time just proves how valuable she is as a player. It’s hard not to question Gareth’s motives or judgment when even a world-class coach like Sarina can see her worth while he continues to bench her. It feels like his ego is getting the better of him, and it shows a real lack of professionalism that he can’t or won’t mend the situation for the good of the team. Plus, it’s obvious Sarina is taking Chloe’s side in this-if it were a serious character issue, there’s no way Sarina would keep calling her up.
He wants to be Guadiola but the WSL is not the PL. Eidvall broke Arsenal (the players' spirits) with this approach. The WSL teams gel much better with some freedom and fluidity.

Chloe Kelly is the next best striker. No wonder Manchester City loss big and I doubt they could win the Wsl league and UEFA women's champions in 2025. Maybe Gareth Taylor should get the sack.

I think it’s the shine around her being the goal scorer for the euros and very good on social media. Plus she is massively liked by Lionesses & City fans! But in terms of actual footballing ability she is quick and has a powerful strike, doesn’t really offer too much outside of that. She is very one dimensional, city struggle to play her over the other wingers as Fujino is replacing Hemp very well at the moment, Fowler offers more defensively especially with the way Kerstin now gets forward more! - she showed last year that she couldn’t play upfront which is what they could do with while Shaw is out but she’s not up the role right now!
Please inform yourself before giving your opinion, Fujino is being mediocre this season and does not replace Hemp, she plays on the right, 1 assist in 10 games, and Kelly, when Taylor took her out, was the best assistant at that time, and in this season . He didn't have time in the game. Kelly's thing is not because of football issues

Fujino and Fowler are not involved. I think this is Kelly's own problem. Her performance is clearly down from last year. Kelly started against West Ham a few months ago for the first time in a long time, but she didn't have any good moments. One possibility is that getting married may have affected her performance.
Arsenal might not be a good fit though cause Kafaji still isn't getting game time, due to the abundance of attacking power, Stina, Frida, Foord, Mead, except they are going to sell some players then she'll fit right in
They only have 3 natural wingers though - Mead, Foord and Caldentey - if Hurtig leaves. Kelly should still get minutes with the number of competitions they're in
She'll prioritise gametime over UWCL I reckon. Obviously she'd prefer to be playing at the highest level possible but why stay at City if she isn't going to play🤷♂️
She's not going to Arsenal or United that's for sure, Tottenham are meh. Liverpool needs a pure 9 like Bunny Shaw and Matt Beard won't play her over his kids in Kapocs & Smith. She fits right into Brighton, Crystal Palace & West Ham system of Play though.
Gareth Taylor is so over-rated. Bompastor owned him a few weeks ago: that was purely a clash of managers. He is Eidvall with better players to cover his inadequacies. I would love to see his most creative players move: Hasegawa is especially wasted. Also Fowler is not an upgrade. Superbly athletic and gifted, Fowler has really limited awareness and decision making.
The fans love chloe it's ridiculous the way she's been treated I think she should leave and be treated with respect I will always support chloe wear ever she goes
Laugh all you want but there's gonna be a wave of (English) players leaving for NWSL and I wouldn't be surprised in Chloe was one of them. When she gets her minutes she's a great player. @TheWomensFootballChat Well, I wouldn't call it "mass exodus", but there's a couple of things that need to be taken into account. I don't know how popular the NWSL has been in the UK, but I'm pretty sure it's got more popular since Emma Hayes was appointed the USNT manager. She's immensely popular within the women's football world and helped the "global visibility" of U.S.Soccer. What's even more important is that the players that are on the bench in the WSL would be getting a play time in the NWSL. Actually loads of it... Especially the lionesses. Look at Esme Morgan, Katie Zelem, Jess Carter (even though she left Chelsea to follow her g/f) and there will be more, as odd as it might seem now. The goal keeper Anna Moorhouse has become a great one. Unfortunately, she's very unlikely to get a chance in the lionesses, because it'll always be either Marry or Hannah... Moreover, the quality of the league has improved tremendously in the recent years as well and last but not least...money, weather.... Chloe would be spending very little, if any at all, time on the bench and as I said before, with her name and fame, she'd be a superstar in the league.

Arsenal is tricky because of their longtime pursuit for Walsh playing Caldentey down in the middle creates more problem for the likes of KCC, Pelova Lia Walti etc they’d have to give up their pursuit for Walsh or loose Cross Or pelova, they just extended walti and maanum. Kuhl is already on her way out adding Mariona to the middle to accommodate Kelly is not a good move. City and Gareth Southgate should be ashamed of them selves. They don’t learn, some how he manages to self sabotage himself and the team every time things are going well! Lost the likes of Stanway, weir, Walsh, Bronze and looks like the list will go on the only notable player he’s brought in has been Viv and even she is diminished and injury proned. Only earlier he was close to loosing Kiara Kheating as well. All his done is under achieve and it looks like he won’t stop under achieving anytime soon
They could still use Caldentey as a winger, just showing there is versatility. Adding Kelly would still leave them with 4 wingers if Hurtig leaves which is a normal amount. It's the kind of signing they need if they want to compete for titles!

Which she can but wouldn’t make her the most effective especially when u play teams that are better on the ball. Mariona is at her best when she’s creating chances not at a double pivot. I think its great to add Kelly to the ranks but not at the cost of putting Caldentey at the Pivot

I don't think Gareth Taylor's priority is the England national team unfortunately. He has to get results and it's hard to argue that Kelly should start over Fowler regardless of whatever happened between Kelly and Taylor
Kelly's England role seems to to come on late with fresh legs , and try for a goal if they need one or to waste time and block final attacks. The Euros is won on ball skills from Scott and Kelly + Kelly forcing a corner with them, and then some more scrambing to get the ball over the line. Those skills are still in short supply, Shes also been key in penalties. She has that skill set and if she can still do that, the England team will look silly if theres no one as good or better , and its just not done when needed.. MCs attack is now on one wing not two ,Shaw is getting fed fewer balls and taking injuries, , Hemp is getting heavily tackled and injury follows. And no one who has gone on instead is scoring the goals Kelly scored before she was stuck on the bench. Greenwood is doing the kicks Kelly did - which just gives her more to do. It would be a spectacular own goal to lose someone they reportedly wanted to re sign early by benching them ... Another reason for Arsenal being a good fit might just be that Kelly seems able to feed an on form Russo and it might allow them to use Mead better. And if you want a winger defending that nuch, Kelly may be faster getting back there.. I am biased because I now really like watching the current Arsenal , wheras MC's magic is gone without Kelly and the injured Hemp and Shaw, and while MCs constant passing is sleep inducing, its also now looking very fragile to any team that has fast attackers who seize their chances and actually attack.

Shes not gonna take a step backwards. She's not leaving a UWCL club to go to a mid table club.

Gareth Taylor is so over-rated. Bompastor owned him a few weeks ago: that was purely a clash of managers.
He is Eidvall with better players to cover his inadequacies. I would love to see his most creative players move: Hasegawa is especially wasted.
Also Fowler is not an upgrade. Superbly athletic and gifted, Fowler has really limited awareness and decision making.
The fans love chloe it's ridiculous the way she's been treated I think she should leave and be treated with respect I will always support chloe wear ever she goes
Laugh all you want but there's gonna be a wave of (English) players leaving for NWSL and I wouldn't be surprised in Chloe was one of them. When she gets her minutes she's a great player. That said, I'm sure she'd get them in the NWSL and would make a superstar across the league. Just sayin'. Well done, lads!

@TheWomensFootballChat Well, I wouldn't call it "mass exodus", but there's a couple of things that need to be taken into account. I don't know how popular the NWSL has been in the UK, but I'm pretty sure it's got more popular since Emma Hayes was appointed the USNT manager. She's immensely popular within the women's football world and helped the "global visibility" of U.S.Soccer. What's even more important is that the players that are on the bench in the WSL would be getting a play time in the NWSL. Actually loads of it... Especially the lionesses. Look at Esme Morgan, Katie Zelem, Jess Carter (even though she left Chelsea to follow her g/f) and there will be more, as odd as it might seem now. The goal keeper Anna Moorhouse has become a great one. Unfortunately, she's very unlikely to get a chance in the lionesses, because it'll always be either Marry or Hannah... Moreover, the quality of the league has improved tremendously in the recent years as well and last but not least...money, weather.... Chloe would be spending very little, if any at all, time on the bench and as I said before, with her name and fame, she'd be a superstar in the league.

Arsenal is tricky because of their longtime pursuit for Walsh playing Caldentey down in the middle creates more problem for the likes of KCC, Pelova Lia Walti etc they’d have to give up their pursuit for Walsh or loose Cross Or pelova, they just extended walti and maanum. Kuhl is already on her way out adding Mariona to the middle to accommodate Kelly is not a good move. City and Gareth Southgate should be ashamed of them selves. They don’t learn, some how he manages to self sabotage himself and the team every time things are going well! Lost the likes of Stanway, weir, Walsh, Bronze and looks like the list will go on the only notable player he’s brought in has been Viv and even she is diminished and injury proned. They could still use Caldentey as a winger, just showing there is versatility. Adding Kelly would still leave them with 4 wingers if Hurtig leaves which is a normal amount. It's the kind of signing they need if they want to compete for titles!

Which she can but wouldn’t make her the most effective especially when u play teams that are better on the ball. Mariona is at her best when she’s creating chances not at a double pivot. I think its great to add Kelly to the ranks but not at the cost of putting Caldentey at the Pivot

I don't think Gareth Taylor's priority is the England national team unfortunately. He has to get results and it's hard to argue that Kelly should start over Fowler regardless of whatever happened between Kelly and Taylor

Kelly's England role seems to to come on late with fresh legs , and try for a goal if they need one or to waste time and block final attacks. The Euros is won on ball skills from Scott and Kelly + Kelly forcing a corner with them, and then some more scrambing to get the ball over the line. Those skills are still in short supply, Shes also been key in penalties. She has that skill set and if she can still do that, the England team will look silly if theres no one as good or better , and its just not done when needed..
MCs attack is now on one wing not two ,Shaw is getting fed fewer balls and taking injuries, , Hemp is getting heavily tackled and injury follows. And no one who has gone on instead is scoring the goals Kelly scored before she was stuck on the bench. Greenwood is doing the kicks Kelly did - which just gives her more to do.
It would be a spectacular own goal to lose someone they reportedly wanted to re sign early by benching them ...
Another reason for Arsenal being a good fit might just be that Kelly seems able to feed an on form Russo and it might allow them to use Mead better. And if you want a winger defending that nuch, Kelly may be faster getting back there..
I am biased because I now really like watching the current Arsenal , wheras MC's magic is gone without Kelly and the injured Hemp and Shaw, and while MCs constant passing is sleep inducing, its also now looking very fragile to any team that has fast attackers who seize their chances and actually attack.
