Nice review and comparison, you can clearly see saw dust flying out on both forward and back strokes on the Laplander whereas the Trailblazer was mostly cutting on the back stroke, not very efficient! Thanks for the vid, been a great help for me to decide what to buy.

Great demo, it sounds like the Laplander is taking more material out with each stroke. Looks like it wins this contest very easily.

@atruepatriot92 Tough call, cause the sawvivor is a good saw. I think that the Laplander has the edge mostly because of how compact and light it is. It just makes it really convenient, and operation is really simple...just unfold it and start cutting. The sawvivor can cut a little bit thicker logs, but I personally don't need or use logs that thick. I can accomplish everything I need with the Laplander. So if size and weight are a priority for you I would recommend the Laplander.

Too much design in the handle of the trailblazer and not enough in the blade- Laplander by unanimous decision!!
