Another great video from Local Route ADV! Those Vinton County roads looked like an absolute blast. Lots of wonderful places to explore here in the Buckeye State.
My buddy lived in McArthur I’d say I’ve been on most of those roads/trails, beautiful countryside down that way. I raced the Baby Burr in Zaleski back in the days of Dick Burleson, guess I kind of gave my age away lol.
cool video man! I'm a newbie here, got my adv bike this is past Sept...gonna take a couple off road course but would love to rides like that....didn't look like it was to technical? but a lot of fun! I'm from Ohio also....sláinte!
Tons of great opportunities for all skill levels in Ohio. There are a couple groups on Facebook for Ohio adventure riders with all the info. Highly recommend them. Good peeps in there.
Great video Christmas Day 2022 I feel like I went out for a ride watching your videos. I too ride an 890R. I've got to say in your intro at 1.41 minutes your bike is on its side hanging off the road how did you get it back on the road...
That was in southern Utah coming out of a wash. Picked it up, backed it back down in the bottom and gave it hell. That whole scene will be coming up in, I believe, episode 6 of the rocky mountain adventure.
enjoy your posts. I've ridden the western US for over 50 years and am planning a 30 day loop from my home in Washington state down into CA and over thru death Vally Sedona Moab mountains of Colorado Wii coming Montana and Idaho. if you are going to be out west let me know. id love to ride a section with you. Glenn
That sounds awesome. My trips planned this year are smokey mountains, northeast and up into Nova Scotia/new Foundland. Otherwise I would gladly taken you up on that offer. I will definitely be back out west in 2024. And heading out on the bike permanently in March of 2027.
Nice job fantastic video 👍🏻
Thank you

That area has a rich history for off-road motorcycling. I cannot imagine the fun that was had riding in zaleski.
There a road called roller coaster road down by the powder plant, great riding.
I need to know this Rollor coaster road you speak of.
@@localrouteadv down by the powder plant stop in town ask a gas station attendant.
@@localrouteadv wheelie the ADV bike through there, it’s wild.
