Just a dude, with a family, who loves motorcycles and nature. Still trying to perfect my version of content I like to watch in preparation for a "Round the World" trip set to begin in 2027. I didn't expect the creative process of making these videos to be so fulfilling. So what used to be a "take the camera with me on big trips" has turned into, don't forget the camera. The response from all of you has been very encouraging. My goal is to continue to improve my craft and wouldn't it be nice if in turn my RUclips revenue in 2027 could cover my gas and help extend my journey! Thank all of you for your support! I truly appreciate it!

Going up the hills around here are the best part!
This video is awesome! I'm located about 2 hours or so down from where the video this video was recorded. A lot of people comment on my videos about how much they enjoy they large variety of terrains and amount of trails we have. It's everything from sand to gravel, hard back dirt, loose dirt etc.. I have to say that the trails around here truly are great

@@bluedanzigmoto5294 of memory serves, ax41 rear, anake wild front. Now I'm pretty much, 2 track rear, mitas Enduro front of dual venture on the 890. Missions on the gs. D606 and mt21 on the 450.

Google great Ohio adventure trail. Brad has a great website. Also a very active Facebook group.
Do you know if street legal utvs are allowed on this route?
I'm from Ohio, so not sure of Kentucky laws when it comes to ATVs. Most of this was on the sheltowee Trace trail which is only horse, mountain bike, motorcycle out hiking. There is a Facebook group for the KAT with all that information.
A small section of the sheltowee allows utvs, its all near s tree campground.
I moved to breathitt county from Michigan. I need to find people to ride with lol. I just got a klx 300.

@@SethMullins418 suited me well. 2 years in and still like new. I attached the helmet mic to the inside of the mount so everything is attached to the mount and can be transferred easily to other helmets.

I hit a few patches of unexpected red sand near the Burr Trail Switchbacks...on a K1600 GT. Luckily, I have some dual sport experience. i kept it at 12mph and got really lucky. Inspired me to get a GS for the next time around.
I've learned so much about bike set up in the sand. This one is a little embarrassing. But you gotta learn the hard way. And I love my gs. You won't be disappointed.

Hi. How difficult is it to get up the steep gravel section of Cave road? I drove it with my Ford F250 and was spinning my rear tires had to go to 4WD.
I didn't think the is any difficult hill on cave road ? My old f250 would spin on flat gravel in 2wd. Lol.
@@localrouteadv Thank you very much for responding. You ever consider being a "guide" for SOAL? I've only been riding off and on the past couple years and would like to ride the SOAL - the "prudent" side of me says to follow someone that knows what they're doing.
@@mitchwiebell2785 Maybe when I retire and have more time. That would be a treat. I'm selfishly exploring the world when time allows. I am kind of an addict that way. There is a Facebook group for the soal and people are always setting up group rides.

Hello, I'm enjoying your Colorado/Utah ride videos. I'm planning to take my large adventure bike in these areas. Can you share your parking experience at the Eagle airport? Cost? Also, what tires did you run on the 890? Thanks, Walt
Thanks and yeah, the parking was fine. No issues. I think it was around $80-90. If memory serves I had a battle ax41 rear and Michelin anake wild front. Neither were my favorite but did fine.
No issues flying the drone in a national park? I keep wanting a drone but talk myself out of it due to all the restrictions.
I don't fly in national parks. I get why they don't want you to in busy areas, but most places I'm alone and annoyed. Lol I have flown on the edges to get shots of the devil's tower.
