A Day Hike to Kakani | A Must Visit Place Near Kathmandu | Laliguras Yatri

Hello! We are back again with a new video. This time we hiked to one of the best place near Kathmandu i.e. Kakani. Kakani lies in Nuwakot District of Nepal and is one of the best places to hike to from Kathmandu.
We hiked from Gurjebhanjyang following the south route to Kakani. Do watch the full video to know more about our experience.
Itinerary:
Samakhushi Chowk- Gurje bhanjyang (By Bus)- 30-40 minutes
Gurjebhanjyang- Kakani (Hike)- 3-5 hrs
Kakani- Kathmandu (By Bus)- 1-2 hrs

Thank you for sharing this video. After showing your video just Yesterday I have visited Samakosh ,tinpiple panch mane, ,tarkeshowar temple and ,gurje bhanjang. I would like to visit kakani through Tarkeshowar mahdev , . I saw only 2 trail to kakani, side fist from panch mane and second to big jharna side. which road is perfect for this trail ? Waiting for your group suggestion.

hello sir, we visited kakani startinh from gurjebhanjyang-tarkeswar mahadev- kakani. there is another trail from gurje as well, that is from the northern side through suryachaur. we haven’t hiked through the second one, tho. We trailed through the first one, and it was a good trail not that hard and the trail is not confusing as well. so, we suggest you to take the first one, and yes you can start from panch mane too 🙂 Hope you found this helpful and do support us by sharing and subscribing 🙂

they do have some open space for camping. Also there is a scout camp, you might camp there as well

Thank you for your advice. I saw thick jungle in your way after Mahadev mandir. From panch mane there is not so thick jungle and parallels to machha pokhari- kakani regular road. I would like to visit from your way. that is Panch mane? Big jharna side? and any other trail near mander side? thank you

i think there is only one hiking route from panch mane, through jharana. Many local people told us so. But i might be wrong. You can ask the locals while traveling as well. Anyways, have a nice time hiking! ❤️

thank you!! the whole trail is usually through forest area, but i think the probability of you encountering wild animals is very less. But still you should be careful and we suggest you to travel in group of atleast two.
