I been a Bama fan for 40 yrs, going back to 1985. I had never seen Bama lose to Vandy in 40yrs until this yr……. I think college players use to care about winning & losing more than fans maybe?? But in today’s NIL world, I think that it’s a divided locker room at many schools? Some players are all about themselves & the money now as opposed to the team like back in your day!! Even in the NFL, winning & losing can determine your future as a player both from a business & position standpoint because there are contracts. In college football now, winning & losing doesn’t matter as much to some players because it doesn’t effect them financially & there are no contracts like the NFL!!
