Al, I had a Farm King blower on my Kubota and my stone driveway was only 800’. But I had to move anywhere from 140”-280” every winter. As far as dealing with stones, I would just drive my truck over the first 5”-9” and have a snow base so stones never became an issue. Be sure to have a half dozen shear bolts handy in the shop . . . you’ll need them. Like me, when you get big snowfalls, you might trailer into town and clean out some driveways for the older folks who can’t physically move snow or afford snow removal. Have a great winter.
We live in northern Minnesota and use a snowblower on our JD tractor. We do the same thing with packing the first snowfalls. Our driveway is a quarter mile long and we use the bottom of the bucket on the tractor to smash down the snow and get a good base layer. No more mowing rocks in the spring that got transplanted but the plow or tossed by the snowblower.😊
The snow blower looks like a serious piece of equipment..😂😅 Brutus looks at home just about anywhere hes at, regardless of who he's with. Love ya'll ❤️

Looks like it needs a nylon hose loom bracket to keep the hydraulic hoses from chaffing through where you got it zip tied. That was a big and costly issue on concrete trucks back in the eighties but the concrete truck industry got snart on that by securing hydraulic hoses in hose looms. Ever since then I've never had a chaffing problem on all the concrete trucks I've driven. Having some hydraulic lines made for length could be a bonus
@dmmaddex I don't mind my rear mount. Then I can also have my bucket on. You get pretty used to turning around with most attachments ... Brush hog, box blade, etc ...
I had a golden retriever who loved snow and ice as much as Brutus does. Whenever we got fresh snow on the ground, she practically danced when she went outdoors. She would jump into drifts, and make snowballs with her nose, and looked like the image of pure joy! When she rode with me in the car, I would stop at McDonalds and get her an ice water. Some of the workers there would give her dog biscuits, which she gratefully accepted, but quickly forgot about as soon as the ice water reached the cup holder. Maybe it’s a thick coated dog thing to like cold so much.
I am very curious, as to why you leave all your great nice equipment set outside when you have all those buildings and you could park them in out of the weather the snow, ice and rain? By the way, I truly believe equipment lasts a lot longer when it’s not left out in the rain and snow just my opinion? Also, they start easier. The batteries seemed to last longer. Most farmers spend big dollars to build big machine sheds to store all their equipment in.
See there’s this wonderful thing called choices. Like, he now has the choice to work inside or outside. Just because it’s cold doesn’t mean you have to be inside. If it’s raining, snowing or blowing a gale then yes but when the sun is shining get outside.

Good Morning! 75 F today in San Diego. We had some snow for about 10 minutes 20 years ago. Before that it snowed for 20 minutes in 1968. So don't say it never snows in San Diego. When we want to ski, we can drive about 120 miles North to the San Bernadino mountains. Cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing on Mount Palomar, about 40 miles from home..
It snowed in Imperial Beach on Christmas Eve 1987. I had delivered my 2nd son on the 18th and was sitting beside the Christmas tree nursing him when I heard jingle bells going down the road. When I was able to look outside there were no tracks in the snow 🤷♀️
Good morning friends, I see new snow blower purchased assembly completed. You mentioned your main use for it is to remove snow piled up from your plowed areas.
