I will always miss CWC and Figero (RIP). I selfishly wish for many, many, many, more years of watching Lumnah Acres videos. God has indeed blessed you Al, Gina and Olivia. Thanks for sharing. ❤
Good day Lumnah family! The new barn windows came out great. Those are going to be some very posh-living chickens soon! Thank you for continuing to share your homestead with us for another year - it has been such a joy to watch. I wish you all the Merriest of Christmases, and an abundance of continued blessings in the New Year!

WOW what a neat idea to find such a perfect Christmas on your property and the best part is YOU TWO know without a doubt it IS a FRESH TREE lolol. God is Blessing you ALL in ALL WAYS!!!
I love how Al is so creative.. Want something??? Just create it! And of course Brutus.. the curious understudy! The barn addition is going to be a real help in these Northern New England winter conditions. ❄️ 🌧

You and Gina are so smart in the way you think so clearly through the process, then move quickly to bring your ideas to facile life! Y'all continue to amaze me. But, after pondering this for a while, I realize that it all works so well because you have Brutus there to perform perpetual inspection and quality control! :-)

Thise windows turned out great. I'm going to show this video to my husband. We have a carport where we were going to place clear plastic on the sides up to a point to prevent all the leaves from coming in but yet still have ventilation.
Quel travail incroyable sur ces fenêtres sur mesure ! J'adore voir la transformation de l'espace. Et ce sapin de Noël, vraiment splendide. C’est inspirant de voir comment chaque détail prend forme avec tant de soin.
Those windows turned out beautifully! It's incredible how a simple trim can elevate the whole look. Brutus has grown so quickly, and his quirky personality is shining through every corner of the homestead. He’s definitely become a "main attraction" around here! Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas filled with peace, joy, and blessings throughout the new year!
Your homestead is so amazinglyly well built. You take pride in all you do. That is so beautiful to watch how if you take pride in all you do, makes the outcome encouraging to all.
Morning Al & Gina, Just a thought, you might want to cut a few channels from the bottom tracks out away from the windows to allow water to drain. Sort of like weep holes on storm windows. If not water will collect and cause the wood to swell and your windows will not open easily. Have a great day!
That's an excellent idea. I wonder if putting cotton rope in the weep holes would help like they do for brick walls. the capillary action of the rope will draw the moisture from the tracks and vent it outside? That's a good issue to bring up. Have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year! 🙏🎅☃🎄🎉
I love the addition to your barn. The windows are ingenious. The battens and trim will look wonderful. Al, your analytical / engineering brain are a treat to watch. Gina’s creative brain make you the perfect team. It’s a joy watching you work together to create your lovely homestead.
Nice project, it really came together nice. Al being away from dato type cuts, you picked it right back up. The sun shining good charge those batteries up. 👍👍👍 Merry Christmas.
I would trim the sliding window panels with 3/4"×3/4" stops, otherwise I think the wind will blow them out, especially with that big gap between the panels. You could make the stops removable so you could replace the panels if needed.
The windows turned out great! I swear when you were cutting the lower limbs off of the tree I got this whiff of evergreen. I love that smell! Merry Christmas, Lumnahs!🎄🎅

Al, I've just watched you making the window frames and after seeing you make the grooves for the plastic to move, I'm wondering if you're going to apply some sort of sealer to the grooves. In the rain, the wood will swell and sliding the panes open or closed might get to be a problem. Otherwise another good job.
