I love her vibe she comes off as just a chill good person with a bright energy and she’s naturally gorgeous 😩🔥🔥
A couple things. Dilute the ACV, try Nizoral shampoo, avoid too hot water on your scalp as it’ll cause more irritation. Also keep in mind that oil is a sealant so applying when your scalp is freshly cleaned and moisturized may feel nice initially but it can also keep any additional moisture from getting in. I would suggest using a lighter oil when you do want to do that step(jojoba, almond, peppermint) castor oil is very thick so more likely to clog your pores without a carrier oil.
Hope this helps🫶🏾
Thank you!!!
Cute makeup look! And your teased hair was giving Diana Ross and I’m here for it! Fabulous darling!
😆🔥❤️👏🏾
Yay! Thank you!
My scalp was just like that! I use Mizani scalp care, and it really worked! I washed my hair with that twice a week. And now I only have to wash it once a week!
Good to know!
Your hair has always been gorgeous, but your hair is MOVING! Here for the inches!!!!
I agree with what others have said about diluting the acv before putting it on your scalp. I use Nizoral shampoo and it made a huge difference for me! Also the dandruff is most likely not from dirt or your hair being dirty. I see a lot of people saying the dandruff may be from seborrheic dermatitis, something a dermatologist can also prescribe shampoo for. I hope this helps :)
Jazzy, hey girl hey!
It's better to do half and half. Half Apple cider vinegar and half water in a spray bottle, then to apply it to your scalp.
The As I Am anti-dandruff line is good and so is the Cantù cleansing cream shampoo, it removes build up for me without drying out my scalp and hair. A serum would probably work better for you if oil is too much. Sulfur 8 or shea moisture has a ACV & salicylic acid line with a leave in scalp treatment too.
LMAO this is literally the definition of GIRL! because the amount of times that you “Nicki lyrics is hilarious LMAO subscribed!!!❤❤❤ love your energy
I’ve never been a makeup girlie like that. But man you’re making want to get into it, just for the times when I’m doing special things. 😮 always comes out so pretty jasmyn!! 😍😍😍😍
Go for it! Thank you!! 🥰🫶🏽🫶🏽
Loving the hair and makeup!! You did that girl! 🔥🔥♥️♥️
Girl, this makeup is on point! This is definitely on date night replay. Beautiful and easy to follow for us who can’t do makeup at all! Just gorgeous!!Also, had the same hair issues and went to dermatology and they said I was super oily! Oil can cause flakey skin/hair just like dryness(who knew😳). So now just been washing (as little as possible) and conditioning and it’s gone! I am mixed so everything that works for black hair doesn’t necessarily work for me, but I’m so “influenced” by products I always have to try the new new. But NOT really messing with the scalp oils no more! Still use it on my actual hair, don’t get me wrong, but the scalp is only on rare occasion.
Yeah it sounds like a scalp dermatitis. I have the same thing. I minimally apply oil directly to my scalp. The way it was described to me was that my scalp produces oils in excess so the cakey-ness is a result of solidified oils along with other things like sweat.
Anyways I would suggest doing the acv rinse as you are but also not allowing my hair to stay wet when covered whether with a hat or scarf, etc. I only apply oil directly to my hair and allow my scalp to draw what it needs. Also If I do put any oil on my scalp it's a rosemary mint oil.
Hope you can remedy it. Takes so much trial and error.
1. Apply Neutrogena Salicylic acid shampoo 3% directly on my scalp with applicator bottle before wetting hair/ getting in shower. (Let sit on scalp for 2 minutes)
2. Wet hair, lather, and rinse out completely
3. For 2nd wash, follow with any regular dandruff shampoo (active ingredient pyrithione zinc)
4. Condition, then style
**You’re absolutly right. My dermatologist told me that oil on the scalp makes it worse!
Not a medical professional in any way, just a girl that has suffered from really bad dandruff and eczema since childhood. This is the only combination that works for me. Hope it helps. ❤
Tip: try your best to apply SA and dandruff shampoo to scalp only. Use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner on hair,
Yessssss the salicylic shampoo is amazing
Noooo!! Jasmyn please dilute the ACV.. it will cause more issues if you don’t. I know it seems productive to do that, but it can be very irritating to your skin. Maybe Selsun blue might help. Your hair is beautiful 😍
Thanks for the tip!
@@JasmynDestineyou can also buy ACV rinses as well. I bought one by Cream of Nature I believe that I use when I have braids or another protective style. But yes, PLEASE dilute the ACV. We don't want you to burn your scalp. 😘❤
Also try a spray bottle after u dilute it
@@JasmynDestineit’s a must lol no tip
Yes I had an issue like that some years ago and someone told me to use Head and Shoulders for your next couple of washes. It cleared mine up and I have never had an issue again.❤
Your hair and make up came out amazing. You look beautiful! My tips .... 1) use an actual conditioner or a deep conditioner/hair mask to condition & moisturize your hair. 2) Don't use a hair masque as a leave in. 3) If you're going to use oil on your scalp it's probably best to do it as a prepoo before you shampoo your hair so your scalp isn't 100% stripped. Other great prepoos i love are aloe vera gel from the plant and ayurvedic ingredients. 1 of the benefits of amla powder is to "control dandruff. Using amla powder helps to reduce dandruff and flakiness on your scalp." It did exactly that for me. I use it as a prepoo mixed with water or into conditioner. Can also go into your deep conditioner. Use either way weekly or biweekly. I also love it as a spritz. Mix the powder with hot water, let it cool, strain it, put in a spray bottle then use on your scalp and hair before your leave in products. Refrigerate spray bottle. Use it whenever you refresh your hair. Can also use it to prepoo your hair along with oiling your scalp. Great combo.
Hey Jasmyn, I have had the same issue and what I can recommend is getting peppermint and or pine oil for your scalp it will eventually eliminate dry scalp and irritation, you can also use rosemary oil for dandruff! If you can get them In a shampoo and a few drops to aid in using the shampoo, it should help you babe ❤
Yesss to this☺️
My wash day is this weekend and I can’t wait I just came out of feed in cornrows. I’m ready to pull out my treatments and steamer
There’s an ACV prewash you can use that’ll help with cleansing the scalp. The same thing use to happen to me with the flakes but it’s because they started making most of the hair products with ingredients like salt and stuff. It pays to really read what’s in the hair products before you use them.
Try the As I Am, dry and itch oil and conditioner it really helped my flaky scalp. Really using that oil a couple times a week.
Love this look 😍
Thank you babe 🥰🫶🏽🫶🏽
I have the same problem as you I use Mizani dandruff shampoo and hair fertilizer grease and my dandruff has cut down significantly
Your hair is beautiful Jas & its growing so long! I usually put ny ACV in a spray bottle & dilute with water. Then spray directly on scalp & hair. It will help u apply more evenly with more coverage.
Love you Jasmyn!! I hate that you're dealing with this dry scalp. I would see a dermatologist to see what's going on and they can recommend some things to help. Also when washing, avoid scrubbing with your nails, I know for me when I use my nails it irritates my scalp more, so I use the pads of my fingers and the silicone scalp massager like the one you used. But overall girl hair is looking good!! Hope you can figure out why your scalp is so dry and get it treated!!!
Watching while doing my hair
your hair is glowing girl, you look stunning
crazy how the last vid
i watched of yours was you styling your short hair it has grown so much
Yes side part lovely 😊
GIRL OUR SEASON JUST STARTED ! Are you excited!?!?!? I’m excited for the vlogy vloggg , I’m already knowing you’re going to snap this year
If you are prone to seborrheic dermatitis, malassezia folliculitis or dandruffs certain oils can cause dry ,flaky , irritated and/or itchy scalp because the oil is feeding the yeast or bacteria. Vitamin B6, B3 (niacin), B2 (riboflavin), and B6 (pyridoxine) folate and zinc deficiency can cause this as well. Nizoral shampoo can help clear these scalp conditions. There are oils such as grape seed and tea tree that’s is safe to use. As I Am also has a oil for scalp care which can help treat this as well.
Hey girl❤ If you loved the way that the tea tree and eucalyptus felt on your scalp during your shampoo, try a light tea tree oil for you scalp in place of the castor oil when your styling. The TGIN Tea Tree + Olive Oil Detoxifying Hair Serum is a really good one that you could use a couple of times a week.
Thank you!! 🫶🏽💕
Yes yes yes! This is what we needed ❤ So pretty
Hey Jasmyn gworlll🤍 My scalp gets like this too, & I believe it’s seborrheic dermatitis! Any type of hairstyle that has theee slightest tension on my scalp will flare it up. Oils & mint scented products make it worse. Try a scalp serum instead. & Nizoral shampoo helps a lot🤗
It could be seb dermatitis, some oils will feed the fungus and make the flakes way worse. Maybe try nizoral shampoo or sulfur 8 😊
you should try flaxseed gel as a pre poo it soothes the scalp and moisturizes the hair. its also super easy to make i usually boil mine with rosemary and cloves. i also make a rosemary and clove w mint water
My scalp is a mess too !! I just bought the sulfur 8 hair grease let’s see if it’s going to improve my scalp … your hair got so long it’s beautiful and healthy
Sulphur 8 works very well. I normally use it twice a week until i see an improvement. The smell however is a another thing but I work with it.
The Nikki part at the end is killing me 😂😂😂❤
My daughter has a hard time with that she likes head and shoulders and the Mielle rosemary mint scalp line.
Yessss, lovelybs products are the best! Love your wash and go. Your hair is so long now😊
Yes! Thank you!
@@JasmynDestine you're welcome 😊
Your makeup is flawless every time!!!❤
Thank you so much!!
The box hair color you did also definitely aggravating it
Nice results for both hair and makeup. I actually prefer the side part.
Thank you! 😊
The whole makeup and hair was giving young Diana Ross 😍 love it 🥰
You could check out sulfur soap for the dandruff
My girl gonna be done with the wigs and weaves now that the hair is back. 😂😩…go off girl! Me too, me too (two more sew ins tho 😅)
Find you some hair grease and use a little with your oil or mix it up. Don’t over kill on cleansing shampoos either. I specifically targeted hydration products because my hair sucks up my oils too. As well as, strengthening shampoos to help trap that moisture and work as an overall protective sealant. I’m about to go back to pink lotion too. If you wear your hair straight, it’s a perfect hydrating product other than oil as well. Sorry for the long comment, hair is my thing
It's giving healthyyy we love it ❤❤
Thank you! 🥰
Loved this ❤
Love ur video as usual please go see a Dermatologist for your scalp issues.
This makeup 💄 look ❤❤❤❤ it does make me want to get dolled up too 😂
everytime i see you, your hair grows like 5 inches😭
😂😂😂
Try the Acv rinse from Talia waajid that’s pretty ok.
The masque is a deep conditioner and needs to be rinsed out. It may explain why your hair is flaking the next day. You can see if that helps ❤
Girlllll your routine is all over the place 😂 . You should do either the shampoo or cowash then the mask and RINSE it out ! You also can not scratch your scalp then put strong azz acv on it without diluting it first ! You should also get a medicated shampoo for your scalp and then use a mask like mielle rosemary but not too much as it is a protein treatment. Coconut oil can be drying to the scalp as well. Tea tree is good !
Hey girl...same thing happened to me when I use to apply oil to my wet scalp...then I stopped and it went away..our scalp naturally produce oil so we don't need oil on our scalp...I do apply the oil directly to my hair thou...especially the ends...I don't know test it out
Thanks for sharing!!
Loved the wash day routine. Could you do a camera settings video for us in the next one? Please lol. I have this camera and I am struggling. lol.
I shoot with it on movie mode and auto tracking for the focus! I keep it simple! Hope that helps 💕
@@JasmynDestine thank you! 🤎
I had this problem for over 20 years plus itching. i tried a mixture of medicated shampoo and a product from the ordinary and after a few washes i have not experienced the dandruff and itching again like before. Tried the apple cider does not work
Big hair is beautiful ❤
Thank you! I think so too!
Try going to the dermatologist. I thought I had dandruff too and turns out it was seborrheic dermatitis which is an over production of oil causing those large flakes.
I think the acv gave us all anxiety when she poured it , I was like your eye!!!!
If you figure out what is causing your dry scalp let me know . Mine has been doing the samething and I thought it was more so do to me moving to a colder climate and being dehydrated but I've been in different climates for long periods of time after that and it's still happening. The acv rinse does help me but I would need to use it continously or else the dryness eventually comes back .
What’s the name of the oil you said was the truth?
Hi; you should definitely see a Dermatologist. In the mean time try a dandruff shampoo. I heard Dermoia and Nizoral shampoo are very good. Hope it gets better! ❤😊
Thanks for the tips!
Oils don’t cure Seborrheic Dermatitis. The As I Am dandruff line has Salicylic acid which is the only thing that properly treats “dry scalp” dandruff isn’t necessarily dry scalp it’s an overproduction of oil that causes flakes.
Hello friend! It sounds like you need to invest in a dermatology appointment, post haste. Also, I would consider ceasing the ACV treatments due to its acidity. 🦋
#jasdolls tap in ❤
This is what I wish my curl pattern was like 😭 just a little more loose
yes its the oils.....don't oil your scalp it causes dandruff..
Great hair routine ❗️Love the hair results ❗️❗️🥰
Thank you so much 🤗
I’ve heard that “air drying” your hair is not great for your scalp as bacteria thrive in moist environments so maybe try drying the scalp of your hair before you sleep. I also suffer from dandruff/dryness so I understand the struggle girl 😩
Hey Jasmyn!! First ever comment. I’m sorry you’re going through this scalp problem. Hurry and get to a primary physician or Dermatologist. And please no vinegar. I’m no physician but I have read enough to know that you have one of those conditions that needs to be treated. I hate to be one of the hundreds of so -called “experts” in the comments but I’m genuinely concerned. The opposite of dry is not oil. The opposite of dry is water(moisture). I know you will get to the bottom of this.🙏🏾
Influencer, All Of Destiny, out of Memphis had the same issue. She went to a doctor and he gave her shots in her scalp and a special shampoo, and it got rid of her dry scalp.
Please see a Dermatologist dear.
Why do it feel like I’m on FaceTime with my friend while we both get ready 😂😂😂 we locked girl because I don’t like FaceTime everybody 😂 I need to stop procrastinating in buy Dr.Dennis Gross Vitamin C
Putting oil directly on my scalp causes my scalp to be flaky as well and I stop doing that and only use it on my hair. … but hopefully you can figure it out or maybe go to like a dermatologist or hair specialist lol I don’t know
I think maybe putting oil on a dry scalp would be better.
hot water my dry it too you try cold?
First 🎉.
Loveddddd this video.. u r to cute😊
Look at the products you’re using, if they have alcohol in them it will dry your scalp out especially gels. Also water and oil don’t mix. If your using coconut oil it’s just going to build up on your scalp without moisturizing it.
🥰🥰Road To 200k🥰🥰

❤💕❤💕❤
if i don’t have a spray bottle i get an empty water bottle and put a tiny hole in the lid😭
The side part ate for sure
Have you thought about seeing a dermatologist ?
A mask as a styling product🤔
Products that are meant to be rinsed out could cause flaking once it dries up in the hair. But I’d still get it checked out though
She looks like doja cat
Stopppppp! Omg! Dont put that on your hair! Omg!! Go to a dermatologist! Omg. Nooo!
Girlllll I screamed the moment she tipped that acv over 🫣🫣🫣 definitely take a break on your scalp because the inflammation will be real. Hopefully you can get your scalp looked at soon so you can see what’s the problem ❤
Try the head & shoulders royal oils line and try a detox mask on your scalp like Aztec clay.
PS HOT WATER WIL DRY OUR YOUR HAIR AND SKIN. Luke warm is better hope this helps
