VAL was never meant to be a frontline weapon, AS basically stands for "Assault rifle - special". Good to see that balancing actually steers gameplay towards what it was designed for IRL
Grinded 300 kills with it since the buff and yes it is absolutely top tier for me. It might just sneak into Top 5 overall but easy top 10. Go for a super quick reload build with URK, quick A and Assault class. Just super satisfying to use and is a flank master
I recently came back to the game after playing 280 hours almost from launch. My new main is the AS-VAL and I'm wrecking people with it playing super aggressive. I think for me the recoil pattern just works for me and I can confirm I do reload a lot. I'd rather just drop the entire mag and waste it, but you also have to play intelligently and know when and how to move from cover; because when you don't time a reload right it will punish you.
Im just to much in love with the fal to use anything else. Its lvl 140 but its so amazing. Already almost 1000 kills. 2-3 shot kill. 2 shot kill assist. 2 headshot kill. Or 1 headshot 1 body. Its insane. The damage with 650 rpm make it good for close range to.
@@CAMIKAZE78 ya I just run it with tactical and vertical and extended. The horizontal is insane. But really not that bad. Just can't full auto for headshots. When tapping the horizontal is manageable. The body is wide enough for the horizontal to not matter.
always a good time when Cam uploads!. Honey Badger next possibly? could you maybe start adding what kind of armor you are using with the attachment builds? depending on each class and how good different armor sets help.
Completely disagree. I'm not saying low TTK is the solution, or even the cause of this - but BattleBit's balance is great. Coming from Warzone where you were a slave to the lowest TTK weapon bc some guns killed literally 1 second faster than others, the variety in BattleBit is great. I'm level 150 and the M4, G36C, MG36, M249, SG 550, ACR, AUG, HK419, Ultimax-100, Scar, Groza, and Kriss Vector are all guns I have enjoyed with over 300 kills, and many over 400-500. This isn't even including other guns I haven't used as much that are generally considered great like AK-15, MP5, P90, and FAL

Scorpion evo needs a rework.. hard, it's sad to see the other carbine to be in such a state, even after the buff as val got such a significant buff. With Scorpions 2.7 base recoil (which is a full point higher than base ak47 mind you) and the requirement of 40 kills before you even glance at a foregrip.. it's better as a short range DMR than the pistol caliber carbine it's acting as.

Accuracy does not seem to work as of rn I tested it with vector, slapped compensator on it to worsen it futher Equipped 4x scope, zeroed on 300 and tappped 36 times at a training dummy's head at 300m Not a single miss with 60ish accuracy

why would they nerf leaning just taking the fun out of the game already, no wonder they keep losing players 26,000 players gone people can't be smart at all these days to keep player numbers
game is broken, maps are broken, movement is broken, and the amount of sweaty nerd exploiters is unbearable, people who scream "skill issue" just have a "touch grass" issue. This game just attracts sweaty try hard losers.
Calm down and learn 2 play lmao. Game is quite balanced. Moet Maps are good. Movement can be worked on agreed but is not disturbing at all. And the sweaty nerds are quite limited.

This gun is my favorite gun now. From the reload to the sound/damage this thing just sounds powerful. And it is powerful.

This gun is so so quiet even in the video you can see that you stayed very long time surrounded by enemies in the building and people were clueless

I love the AS VAL in every game I can use it in. Had ~5000 kills with it in both BF3 & BF4, and seems like that's gonna be the case again here

I can partly agree that it’s for super close range. But if you take the time to grind kills and learn its recoil it’s an absolute monster.

SE-5 Grip for me as it gives even better Vert and Hori recoil than URK. The reload imo is quick enough. Especially with Quick A.

Nah it’s easily one of the best weapons in the game right now - one of the fastest killing weapons.

Just get used to it. I play mostly Fal, over 2.0 vertical and it's easy to manage.
