Thanks for showing the test! As a customer and a person who is paying mostly upwards of a lakh, should we ask for such kinds of tests on the PPF that is being applied on the vehicle? I think as an informed customer the service provider should allow this for the customer.

Try using Mohr's hardness tester. It will give you better results and since it is in the scale of 1 to 10 it can be differentiated better.
