Hi Jo, that’s not good. Did you contact Sonik and get another sent out? I’ve found their customer service really helpful previously when I had issues with one of their reels and they sent out new parts etc for free with no quibble

@@drillhammer9423 yeh bro they are good prolly just had a faulty one as the bobbin broke aswell but all on the one sonik sent out all new parts

Purchased a pair of these for my son as they were recommended by my local tackle shop but after only 6 carp fishing trips in 3 weeks we've had two of the chains snap when picking the rod up after a take one long and one short very poor quality stay well clear waste of money
