Is ink one of those schemes where it's very expensive and you can only use the brand ink cartridges? That's a big determining factor for me.

what happen with the borders, the edges of the wall, I mean if I want something to cover the whole wall with the design the machine could reach every spot on the corners?

The printhead does require margins from the edges of inside corners, ceilings, and floors. However, since there's no edge to wall printing; it allows floating images like no other medium can accomplish, blending the artwork into the wall as a part of it. Through the use of drop shadows, fading, and faux textures, the wallPen creates artworks that become a part of the space better than edge to edge graphics.

Yes you can never make money with this technology the setup the design portion the printing the stuff that you need you'd have to charge for a mural ten to fifteen thousand dollars for a small mural or medium it's crazy no one will pay it

Hey! This is not quite accurate. Our operators typically charge $18/sqft

Our operators typically charge $18-22/square foot (with a minimum flat rate, maybe $500) plus the cost of artwork. The cost to the operator of printing is just their time and ink, which is $0.75/square foot. Let us know if you’d like more info!

@verticalprinters 18$ per square food at lowest resolution setting sir. Plus you need 2 to 3 people at 21 to 24$ per hour. An average mural where you don't need scaffolding...taking 8 to 12 hours with set up and take down...the math doesn't look good. It is a neat tech..but it is so slow and you need scaffolding and a track system.. set up and take down takes hours. It is not a feasible tech yet. On rougher surfaces like brick I'm sure you need to ad 30% more time and ink. If you can print higher with out scaffolding and print 10x the speed...maybe. o can't wait for it to develope...I do like it though.

Our operators can certainly adjust their pricing based on complexity and set up time if they so choose. Having said that, the majority of prints can be completed (including set up and tear down) within a few hours or less. The machine prints very quickly, and only takes 5 minutes and 1 tool to set up. It also can be carried, set up, and operated with only one person. Scaffolding typically is not required, unless the client wants the print very high off the ground which is rare. Our track system is a breeze to set up. You do not need any more time or ink for brick. It's an exceptional machine. If you'd like more information on it, let us know!

I think until there are some good computer systems that can manage uneven surfaces this wall printer. I don't think is very good at all interior sure who the heck wants to print on interior walls. When? I can just get a vinyl by doing exterior where the ground is uneven. I don't think it will work well

Vinyl’s great for some things but the wallPen can definitely create effects that vinyl can’t. Also, vinyl is pretty terrible for the environment whereas our ink is very earth-friendly. As for uneven floors, we have a track system that our operators can use!
