Just spent an hour looking for my left airpod pros 1st gen at 12am! Location jumped all over the place. Couldnt play a sound for an hour. I almost gave up. I persisted & a new location was spotted, i was getting closer..until i heard a faint beep. There it was in the middle of the road, further from where i traced my tracks, hallelujah. Wouldnt have found it without the beeping noise. Thank god!

I’m always losing my air pods I have the original pros but I love my AirPod gen 2 but since I lost them and I couldn’t find them! So I just bought AirPod gen 3 over pro gen 2 because I didn’t want to spend the extra money if they don’t work when dead anyways !
I’ve lost 3 pair of Bose gen 2 ear buds. One pair of skull candy buds one pair of between pro buds. The first 2 pair of Bose gen 1 buds had a find my feature that the second gen took away however due to low quality manufacturing both pair of this buds broke the exact same way. In total I’ve been thru about 10 different pair pairs of earbuds and today I’m going to try the AirPod pro 2 ONLY because of the find my feature that I miss from my original Bose. I like that for me

I tried doing this but I think it only works when your using it, someone stole my right AirPod and the case and they don’t show up and when I try to beep it, it only beeps the one that I have

Hi. It sounds like you are trying to locate your iPhone using Find My. If you set up Find My previously and your iPhone appears as Offline or No location available, you can still take some actions such as play a sound. Someone took my pro 2 case and I tracked them down to a small restaurant, I walked around the building with find my on and even walked inside the restaurant but it never picked up a signal 😔 Now they were last seen in an apartment complex and the search range is so wide I might as well figure them lost.

I finally needed this feature but didn’t see my AirPods Pro (gen 2, w iOS 16) anywhere in Find My or elsewhere. Super frustrating. Luckily I just had to think about where I left them a little harder and found them… no thanks to Find My. 🙄
I mean what gives? I had even tested out the feature a week or two ago, and assumed it would work if I needed it for real. Nope. Must’ve shut off some location service or something. Any help?
I don't think it can find your Airpods if they are too far away from the phone or disconnected.

@@applesupport I don't think they were out of range or too low on battery. As I said, I think I just didn't realize there was an app "buried" in the "my library" section. I was looking in settings. Thanks for eventually responding though! 😄

If they’re out of range, you might sometimes see the last location, but there’s not a way to play a sound to locate them in that case. However, should the AirPods come back online, you would get a notification on the device you use with the AirPods.

Why does my find my app only say direction for my AirPod pro gen 2s. Even if I’m connected to my airpods it will always say directions and not find. I always get taken to google maps which is not useful if I lose them in the house.

As much as possible, I don't want to use this application but I was able to just now. I accidentally drop my Airpod Case and I wasn't able to know I lost it for 5 hours, good thing I was able to use this app like smoothly with a heart beat.

I need support! I recently switched to iPhone 14 from iPhone 13. I backed up everything to iCloud before doing so. All photos I had in the notes app are now blank. I don’t think they have loaded in. How do I fix this? It’s been like this for a couple of days.

I'm driving with a friend. My iPhone is connected to the car's headset, so the bluetooth is active. My friend starts opening and closing the case for his airpods. A banner pops up on my navigator asking me to connect a new device, which is why I can’t see the route and I have to reach out with my hand to turn off the banner manually, thereby distracting me from driving. To turn off the notification, I need to put other people's headphones in my ears, did I understand correctly? And what if it is done by a person riding nearby in another car? And who will compensate me for the damage if I get into a traffic accident?
Take some responsibility and select never connect for those headphones and tell your friend to stop screwing with his case. And nobody will compensate you because you are just being whiny and lazy.

What if you did not add them to Find My before losing them? I have them listed among my bluetooth devices - why cant that info be transferred into Find My?
There’s no way it’ll show up. You have to have enabled the AirPods in find my first. Sorry.
Really annoying, i have like 5 year okd airpods so idk what gen or whatever but i think i left them at the gym or thats where they say they are. That was the last place i used them a week ago and they havent turned up so i think i did leave them there but it’s impossible because i needed to put them back in the case when i left so they are somewhere in my house or in my car and i just cant find them

Quick question...imagine you listen to music and you suddenly loose them ....at the subway station and someone takes them with them .
Will i be able to track them to that persons house/apartment ?! (+when they are on/when someoneuses them) ? Or will it just show me the subway station cause thats the last place i used them?
