No help for an older Cadillac where the antenna is in the front fender well...wish I had a straight shot like your trunk mounted antenna, piece of cake for sure!

Hi if my lower mast has metal jammed in it, is there a way to remove the motor from the lower mast and push a screwdriver through the lower mast and push out whatever is in there, then reattach?

It's ok, but what about a front fender mount?? Looks like a somewhat big job?

You could have removed the motor from the mast and saved the antenna, that is a mechanic could have. Then bench it and replace the cable assembly., reinstall. Your a hack, not a mechanic
