- Modern Warfare has a Verdansk mode that is hilarious fun but I feel like not many people know about it or played it. The coop was an absolute blast here with @Tomographic and @Stodeh Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
The idea behind the Spec Ops missions was incredible, they just made it so suffocatingly hard, and also didn’t let you create private matches with the big ones.

They were difficult at the beginning of when MW2019 came out but I thoroughly enjoyed them and completed them within a week.
@@kintsugittv2537 They were near impossible without a riot shield on your back when the game launched. Then they made it far too easy.

for me it was hard becasue lack of coms due to always having randoms, if they made private matches a thing and scaled the enemies to fit for how many players loaded in, i think this mode wouldve had a bit more love.
@@221Prohunter I literally played it on release, it's not hard. Maybe with randoms it is, but not coordinated friends.
LOVED this mode; only a few people played it w me, but a ton of fun. Glad you are enjoying it

The game mode is available on every platform and it's played a lot since every cross platform cod is alive and still much played.
the waves of enemies give me MW3 survival vibes.

I did this with a couple friends when the game came out we did all of them plus the hard mode versions. The hardest one for me was the one where you go round the edge of stadium.
Yeah, that one was so rough because enemies were just spawning in every direction around you and the stadium has bugger all cover for an outward direction. Chuting onto the roof and cheesing it that way was the easiest way to do it if you didn't care.

The stadium is actually quite easy if atleast one person stays on top of the stadium. That’s How I did thousands of times

I think they modified the difficulty because nobody was playing it. Then it was too easy, then they tweaked it back to being just right I think

Only at launch. They nerfed the enemies significantly afterwards.

Unfortunately that’s the CoD community in a nutshell, they’re some of the biggest crybabies in gaming.
A day into MW2 beta and I already saw videos titled “Infinity Ward has to fix this ASAP!” Or “Modern Warfare 2 is DOOMED to fail if this doesn’t get fixed” and the video is just talking about some minor inconvenience in the game.

@@ia285 yeah Halo has got to be the worst. I get Halo Infinite doesn’t have a lot of content, however i also get that the devs are completely focussed on Forge and Co-Op. it should’ve launched a year later but oh well. Still got the best gameplay in the series.
@@GoBuddieGo Finally more people are starting to see this... perhaps I'm just from a different era of gaming, but games currently have never been better. It genuinely is so weird to me how critical everyone is over what is objectively a great game on the whole.

At launch, these missions were impossible. So difficult. They made them easier but by then I could never get a full 4 man team to play it. I wish they'd let you queue into the missions with fewer than 4 people.
Especially since a few of them could be done stealthily, they would literally be easier to do solo than with a squad of randoms. I found a few guys that ran with me for a bit a while back, it was actually pretty fun. Especially doing the mission challenges for blueprints.
Whether it was always running out of ammo, snipers and suicide bombers one shotting you, or a juggernaut who refused to die and had perfect accuracy. These spec ops missions were imposssible at launch
The classic special ops you can 1-4 people
No idea why it didn't just scale the enemy count to the player team count
I can still get game now, in fact just finished all missions
Never really understood why many people hated Spec Ops I love playing it.

man i miss when warzone was actually fun, i quit after chapter 2 or whatever and only tried it a few times but thats all, season 2 (when i got into warzone) to season 6 was the best, and the stadium opening up was the biggest thing.
The BO1 menu music in the background gave me chills and brought back great memories
I play this every single day since launch, there's nothing quite like this in any other game, so polished. Gets your aim and movement ready for rebirth!
This with the MWII bots set to hard would just be the chief's kiss.
For everyone asking this is the Co-op from MW2019
Man, seeing Verdansk again legitimately makes me tear up. I have so many amazing memories playing there and no other game compares to what Verdansk era Warzone specifically brought. It was the perfect BR for me and the map had everything.
It genuinely upsets me that Caldera is so terrible and sure, Rebirth Island and Fortune’s keep are cool, but they don’t even come close to hitting that spot that Verdansk immediately hit. MW 2 doesn’t feel right to me either so my Warzone experience heartbreakingly died with Verdansk.

Those modes are impossible without a squad of REALLY competent players. Played them a few times but I got teamed up with morons most of the time do I sacked the whole mode off.
Right, gave me the feeling I get in GTAO when I do a mission or hiest with randoms...it's literally the exact same, team makes all the difference. But the mode is fun.
I wasn't a huge fan when COD started making huge maps with BF style modes..but tbf I think they're getting better at it..I did have fun with MW2 beta and actually kinda looking forward to it
They honestly did bf better in mw2 than bf2042 did.
Yeah, the combo of less campy maps + more strict movement at the same time is an interesting one and I think it's more fun
@@NPFfumbi yeah I was excited for 2042..they seem to be going backwards tho..they've actually allowed COD to catch up and even pass them when it comes to creating large functional maps..which is mind-blowing to me..I never would've guessed that in a million yrs..ik people will say oohhh but destructible environments!! yeah sure but I'd rather just have a smooth running server with stable FPS tbh..

been playing co-op for ages, great way to rank up weapons, great fun as well
When I played mw my favorite thing to do was make the ax-50 as small as possible and cqb quick scope with a tiny lmg. Stacking handling attachments was a lot of fun😂
Co-op modes are always slept on. I wish they'd put as much love into co-op as they do for multi-player.
After completing the campaign I played co-op. I was so late on Multiplayer in MW. Loved the Co-op
When MW19 was fresh, my wife and I used to play these modes to warm up for multiplayer and had an absolute blast!
MW19 was my fav COD and Spec Ops was fun as hell but hard as hell lmao then Warzone dropped and no one wanted to play anymore😂 It was fun! that's what I hope DMZ is but the whole map with more real players and more AI
I remember playing this before the warzone mode and map was released and me and a friend being shocked at how the whole map was in spec ops ages before warzone was released and anyone realised

Ahh man this brings back memories!!!! Played this missions with friends for hours and hours they were so fun
I used to love playing MW3 survival mode with my brother and friends split screen was great fun. Boy does it get ridiculously hard at time lol.
I totally forgot about these, they were the best part of the game imo, ran through them all before even touching pvp multiplayer

Co-op has been slept on, people just didn't try. During the MW year of support I'd hop on occasionally, you could max level a gun in like two matches.

I remember playing this back in the days pre warzone. When the lads and I got sick of multiplayer. Gets me excited for spec ops in MW2022.
I enjoyed these missions when they first came out but they really were difficult if you didnt have a good squad to back you up.
The pentagon background music give me chills.
I love how there's actually good looking, modern weapons that shoot normal bullets. So good to see vs the Warzone weird dragon alien laser guns from 1920
That’s what makes me nervous about all the game modes like DMZ in MW22. They just abandoned Spec-Ops with glitches and all.

The original spec ops mode in MW2 back in 2009 was something. Many memories playing that.
i believe this mode had quite a bit of bugs and problem on release thus the reason why alot of people didn't play it.

The TTK an NPC in Spec Ops is RIDICULOUS! That's a big reason why I stopped playing, it was just unrealistic and beyond challenging. Just flat out impossible given the numbers of NPC's that would spawn and end up taking real players down faster than we could them...
About the third scrambler, my brain went "THEY GOT TANKS NOW!!!"
I wish Spec Ops the mode was just a big version of the Clean House mission that you can play CO-OP on the Warzone map. You spawn at a military base, get your loadie, drive to the target location, clear it out in time before reinforcements show up, and peel out. Also a realism mode version would have been sick. ARE YOU READING THIS IW???
It’s gonna be real interesting to see how that Tarkov like mode is gonna go in MW2. Being able to drop in and out at anytime, and either loot AI or backstab other players. Sweeping city buildings is gonna be intense.
In the 60s when that idea was really invented they called it Skyhook
this being side quest missions in the campaign journey needs to be the future of COD
I’ve never been excited about spec ops until now. Still a lover of all things Zombies but last year The Zombies just didn’t hit for me. Vanguard was every bit what I wanted out of world at war “re-imagining +” but the zombies did not slap.

i would say if you have a full squad (3 friends and including yourself) this spec-ops mode is amazing, it's not going to work if you play with some randoms coz of the minimal communication and doesn't know what to do, it's also the best place for farming weapons with just throwing thermite in Operation Strongbox where if you didn't cut the vault the enemies will spawn in forever and you can level up max in just one game
I know it's not the norm, but the first Spec Ops mission I ever completed was with 3 randoms... they all knew what we had to do and explained it to me while constantly communicating. One of those rare wholesome COD moments for sure.

I pretty much played this all day long when I had my Xbox. Didnt want to rebuy MW for PC. Hope that MW II will bring us a similar/even better experience in spec-ops.
Bro literally ALL they had to do to fix spec ops was lower the enemy health because those guys take like 12 shots to kill. Also increase the player health or stop giving the enemies aim bot and this mode would’ve been PERFECT

Spec Ops are legit one of the most fun things to do in MW.
Also a great way to unlock / level up guns, especially in the Survival mode.
Spec Ops in MW 2019 was EPICLY FUN.
