That Indominus Rex is so incredible. Seeing it chase the vehicles is unreal. The Davy Jones animatronic blew me away too. I hope Universal and Disney bring those rides to the states eventually.
I am SO grateful that I got to experience the Jaws ride twice before it closed down. I'll never forget the first time because it was raining hard and we were dressed in yellow ponchos getting drenched by the rain. It was only me and my grandmother that went on the ride. We were horror movie buddies and we loved Jaws. The heavy rain we were in really enhanced the experience, making it WAY more terrifying! And the fact that we were also in yellow ponchos was the subtle icing on the cake that made it even scarier because in one of the sequels at the very beginning of the movie, a guy gets eaten by Jaws and he's in a yellow poncho/raincoat. I got to experience the ride one other time in my life before it closed down. The weather was clear that day so I got to experience it the "normal" way but it wasn't the same for 2 reasons...1. The bad weather the first visit actually added to it and made it better. 2. and more importantly...my grandmother was no longer with us 😥 She was all I could think about during the ride and it just wasn't the same. While I never got to ride the ExtraTERRORresteral ride at Disney, I did ride its replacement in Stitch’s Great Escape and not to sound like a wimp, but that ride was genuinely terrifying. Fun for us but the parents who had clearly ignored the warning signs bc "it's disney how bad could it be?" are probably still paying for therapy for their kids to this day. Someone brought their 5 year old and he ran out of the room when it was over and hid in the t-shirt stand in the attached merchandise shop. Parents couldn't get him out and he was just hiding and wailing in terror.

The old king kong animatronic at orlando (the one that knocks the trolley) is still one of the most impressive things I've ever seen. I almost forgot about the banana breath!
I've heard about the stunt robot aka Spider-man. Hollywood was trying to make androids that could do stunts in order to have less injuries/deaths for stunt doubles. What a concept....literally AND figuratively!! Our technology has come a LOOOONG way to achieving the perfect human like animatronics. I remember as a kid going to Showbiz Pizza and thinking-"wow, these characters are very realistic!" I look back now and think-"not so much." But in the 80's that was pretty futuristic.
That Spiderman Robot makes you think, if everything in the movies was actually CGI, Stuntperson or ... a robot. Ok, probably CGI, but it would be soooo cool, if it was a robot :D
I am so sad I didn't get to see the Hondo animatronic when I went to Galaxy's Edge. Covid restrictions were still in place at the time so unfortunately most preshows were not running. I was watching through Star Wars: The Clone Wars at the time so it would have been amazing to see that character come to life in person.
FYI, Garner Holt Productions created the latest Abraham Lincoln animatronic and has been involved with disney for quite some time now. They are Animatronic rockstars!
For me personally the Navi shaman of songs we’ll always be number one no matter how many animatronics after her have improved emotions of animatronics Navi shamaness songs still represents a huge achievement in animatronic functions her body alone has 39 functions in her face has 42 separate functions and she moves with such fluidity of ease it’s like they literally brought the knobby shaman of songs from the avatar movie and brought her all the way to Disney World in real life and if you didn’t know she was an animatronic you would be convinced that it was an actual Navy like how crazy is that
The King Kong animatronic really made the ride in Orlando, i re-rode the ride just to get another look at it (my wife didn't understand why I really wanted to go back on it again so quickly.... she just didn't get it :)
Animatronics are an epic thing that the crews worked on in every year. IT would be possible if we get to see the Godzilla Animatronic. That would be huge like King Kong!!!
Your videos are awesome and informative I always love seeing the footage from theme parks around the world kinda makes me wish I could visit them but I know that would be expensive I would have to be millionaire to achieve that dream
I just went to Hollywood Studios in Orlando and rode Smuggler's Run but the Hondo animatronic wasn't there :( They replaced him with an actor appearance on the screens.
Im surprised that Disney hasn't just shut down Expedition Everest for like a week. Remove the Yeti and replace him with a limited motion animatronic. Heck they could even just put up a fake rock facade around the Yeti and replace him while the ride is open. Its been more than a decade. This makes me think that there is actually a ride safety issue.
My List of Ideas for Animatronics for Theme Parks - Godzilla Monsters - Godzilla and Kong (a possible Godzilla vs Kong ride) - Mechagodzilla - Godzilla - Mothra - King Ghidorah - The Lord of the Rings - Gollum - Shelob - Wargs - Balrog - Smaug - STAR WARS - Darth Vader - Boba Fett - Chewbacca - Adventure Time - The Lich - Monsters and Mythical Creatures - Yeti (any Yeti for a specific Yeti themed ride) - Kraken - Chupacabra - Jersey Devil - Manticore - Bunyip (for an impressive Australia themed ride) - Chinese Dragon
the trex at island of adventures never came out from behind a waterfall. That one you showed is from the hollywood ride. The orlando one always was slower and came out from fog and looked more realistic instead of hovering.

It's so crazy to see how these Animatronics have evolved. My favorite one is Jack Sparrow from Disney Lands Pirates Of The Caribbean
Love this video. You really do a fantastic job talking about theme parks and roller coasters. Keep it up!
I have actually been on Rise of The Resitance and have great memories of it
I LOVE Rexy, she's my favorite animatronic and she still holds up today.
Great video (obviously due my hard work of watching it early), and I’m glad that you changed the thumbnail!
RIP Murphy the dragon
Awesome video I found some new rides/ trains to go back to theme parks.
Yay the video is finally there!
0:51 that shot of the audience is hilarious! Everyone has their twin sat next to them
Fantastic picks in this video, keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching!
Always a pleasure sir very well done
Thank you so much!
Where’s hopper the grasshopper at it’s tough to be a bug, he was very advanced
Sprookjesboom actually originated from the tv series and not the other way around. The tv series started somewhere around 2006 and Sprookjesboom came to the Fairytale Forest in 2010.
I made a stealth edit and corrected that. Thanks!
Rip fantasmic dragon

I love this. Funny enough I am currently visiting Disney World In Florida and Universal Studios! I now know a lot about the rides here too because I research the places that I go to before I go there. I love you and your channel and I have been subscribed for many years. I check every day to see if you have uploaded a new video and I always check first to see if I'm in the comment shout-out program, then I watch the video. Keep making videos.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Stay tuned for more videos in the future!
The old king kong animatronic at orlando (the one that knocks the trolley) is still one of the most impressive things I've ever seen. I almost forgot about the banana breath!
Dinosaur has a hidden Carnotorus Animatronic hidden in the dark right before the Aladar Animatronic
T-Rex from the Jurassic Park franchise is one of a greatest characters to be putting on a animatronic rides!
Oh, definitely well worthy of being an animatronic, considering how Spielberg heavily used animatronics for the original Jurassic Park!
Her name is Rexy, thank you very much. 😛
i got stuck on the king kong ride right in front of the animatronic and it was so cool
Sorry, Bonnie. Carla Marie Gunderson is still in shock.
I am very shock that the revenge of the mummy anatronics at the universal parks didn’t make it
I was surprised too! It really was an impressive animatronic!
That Spiderman Robot makes you think, if everything in the movies was actually CGI, Stuntperson or ... a robot.
Ok, probably CGI, but it would be soooo cool, if it was a robot :D
Disney seriously needs to make more stunttronics!
Waldorf and Statler should've received more votes. As a child I imagined sitting in Muppets Theatre and those 2 are exactly as I imagined.
Do the old king kong and the disaster subway set that both used to be at universal orlando count?
I am so sad I didn't get to see the Hondo animatronic when I went to Galaxy's Edge. Covid restrictions were still in place at the time so unfortunately most preshows were not running. I was watching through Star Wars: The Clone Wars at the time so it would have been amazing to see that character come to life in person.
I really, REALLY hope they don't get rid of Countdown To Extinction, that one's my absolute favorite ride at WDW.
Too bad the Maleficent Dragon caught fire a while ago! It was an impressive animatronic!
Edit: Also loved the Spongebob reference for Davey Jones!
Yay for the Universal Beijing Resort shout out! Current performer there 🥰
Awesome facts, thank you 😊!
Disney's wild with those
1:26 Thank you for referencing my favorite SpongeBob episode!
Omg I didn't know about the exisistence of the animatronic of spider man! I need to see him in person!
FYI, Garner Holt Productions created the latest Abraham Lincoln animatronic and has been involved with disney for quite some time now. They are Animatronic rockstars!
For me personally the Navi shaman of songs we’ll always be number one no matter how many animatronics after her have improved emotions of animatronics Navi shamaness songs still represents a huge achievement in animatronic functions her body alone has 39 functions in her face has 42 separate functions and she moves with such fluidity of ease it’s like they literally brought the knobby shaman of songs from the avatar movie and brought her all the way to Disney World in real life and if you didn’t know she was an animatronic you would be convinced that it was an actual Navy like how crazy is that
It's too bad the rest of that ride is so absolutely lackluster with movie screens and projectors at various parts to show any motion.
Yeah I never realized that was an animatronic watching videos of it until I saw the comments
I think the ride is incredible and underrated. I have a soft spot for slow-moving boat rides!
@@ThemeParkCrazy people can’t appreciate the beauty in things these days . It’s a feast for the mind and ultra relaxing!!!
The King Kong animatronic really made the ride in Orlando, i re-rode the ride just to get another look at it (my wife didn't understand why I really wanted to go back on it again so quickly.... she just didn't get it :)
I LOVE the Mummy coaster, though I do admit I miss Kongfrontation. It was so cool as a kid.
Could you cover some more UK coasters, and their storylines? Possibly a video on the top 10 scariest coaster themes?
A moment of Silence for the Maleficent Dragon, although ive heard it should be up and running again soon
Animatronics are an epic thing that the crews worked on in every year. IT would be possible if we get to see the Godzilla Animatronic. That would be huge like King Kong!!!
It would be amazing indeed! At the very least, it would be from the shoulders up since Godzilla is enormous.
Ngl first time I saw the Spider-Man show on RUclips I was said was that real!?
here are my favorites:
Kongfrontation
ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter
Jaws Ride
Dinosaur (Animal Kingdom)
Your videos are awesome and informative I always love seeing the footage from theme parks around the world kinda makes me wish I could visit them but I know that would be expensive I would have to be millionaire to achieve that dream
Pirates of the Caribbean Shanghai is a mind blowing ride and easily one of the best disneyland rides
That carnotaurus scared me badly as a child but yet again even 6 years later I was still scared of it at 12 even though I knew it was coming
I wouldn't say Jack Sparrow's addition to the OG Pirates of the Caribbean rides was uncontroversial, there were definitely people that complained
I admittedly wasn't in the theme park community back in 2006 since I was 13. I was too busy braving the Gamestop community.
@@ThemeParkCrazy honestly same except I was 9, but I still heard about the backlash
I just went to Hollywood Studios in Orlando and rode Smuggler's Run but the Hondo animatronic wasn't there :(
They replaced him with an actor appearance on the screens.
that’s exactly what I was thinking The Alien Encounter Alien looks very much like Megaguirus I was exactly thinking the same thing! =D
I honestly don’t know why the alien was last on the list. It has an impressive size, skeleton, and mobility for its time in 1996
I think it's because a lot of people didn't get a chance to see it well. It wasn't until just recently that the leaked prototype photo was discovered.
Great picks! I need to go back to Disneyland to check out the Avengers campus.

when i went to disney world a couple weeks ago the hondo animatronic wasn’t there and the pre show was just him talking on a screen
the trex at island of adventures never came out from behind a waterfall. That one you showed is from the hollywood ride. The orlando one always was slower and came out from fog and looked more realistic instead of hovering.
Fantastic stuff 😎
The Spider-Man one is so cool
Yippee! I made it into a shoutout!
ive been watching you for a while now, and i gotta know, with your familiarity of all things theme park, are you familiar with a universal studios resturant and store called Marvel Mania?
2:04 I was like 10 when I first did the ET encounter and it was scary AF! Lol
I love all your videos
