In this weeks video I will be giving you my review on the luxury body wash gel from Molton Brown. I have to say, this body wash really surprised me. I was not expecting it to work as well as it did. Maybe because I'm so used to many brands calling their products luxury when in reality its no better than the normal brands you can get from somewhere like Target. I will be adding Molton Browns body washes to my options for my showers! I found this particular scent, Coastal Cypress and Sea Fennel, is very versatile. Its ideal for a body wash for women and men. I also give a few more scents from Molton Brown I enjoy.

molton brown is now a must have for me. I've been using a scent-free Cetaphil bodywash alongside black pepper recharge, and I use it with my cologne (sauvage elixir) and the smell is perfect. I got 4 compliments in a single day once just by running a few errands out in public.

I get mine from Moltonbrown.com. Target gets me every time lol. I have to force myself not to go because it will be a hefty bill lol.
i bought the molton brown milk musk shower gel. It smells like NOTHING. Really, nothing.

Nothin like a good body wash! I almost bought one (it had Oud and gold flakes in it) but I had to stay focused on my Dior mission lol. I think I will give this a sniff. Thanks for sharing 💕

Hey man! Great video! I discovered Molton Brown in a hotel and since then Im crazy over it 😝 Personnaly I m in looooove with the Ylang-ylang shower gel. In your video, you are saying that every shower gel has a parfum in the same sent. However I couldn't find any Ylang-ylang parfum. Do you know if it exists? Or do you know a Molton Brown parfum that matches nicely with the Ylang-ylang shower gel ?
Thank you very much! Ylang-Ylang is definitely a good one! It existed at one point but not sure what happened to it. The next closest thing to Ylang-Ylang would be the Pink Pepper scent in my opinion. They both contain some of the same notes but Pink Pepper is more on the spicy side, but is a good match to the soothing Ylang-Ylang.

I feel like a good way to conserve the more expensive body wash is to use a cheap, non scented one FIRST to clean your body so you’re not limited. THEN use the more expensive scented one after to get the scent. It’ll save product and you’ll still get super clean.
That's a really great method! I will definitely try it out! I try to alternate between the affordable stuff and the good stuff but its so tempting to constantly use the good stuff lol.
@@DetailedDream yea! This way you can use one squirt of the expensive stuff everyday and get the scent you want without going broke lol
What would recommend a wash towel or a luffa ? Right now I'm using a towel but it seems like I use a lot of product.
Elvan Gulley I fell like they are pretty much the same. I use both and realized, I use the same amount of product. the only difference is that a luffa provides better exfoliation so the product seems to perform better in my opinion.

This is a great video I love to smell good that’s #1 but the body washes I use is a mixture between every man Jack sandal wood and bath and body works teakwood body wash those are cheaper but I feel gets you very clean and hold you all day
Back then I use to use old spice swagger and old spice moisture with Shea however they’re products are good with smell but don’t keep you fresh for too long

One of my favorite body washes is the Alaffia Lavender Shea or Unscented . I like the short ingredient list & the price is really good . It's a 32 oz pump bottle for about $14 .
That's actually one of my favorite brands for body wash! My girlfriend started using it and I seen the short ingredient list so I started using it as well and became on of my faves! lol
@@DetailedDream I had to find a less expensive alternative to what I was buying . I went through several Jo Malone body washes & finally woke up to the ridiculous money I was spending . I love the Alaffia , Raw Sugar is good , & the Everyday Soap from Follain .
I think it might be perfect for the days you don't wear cologne, otherwise I don't recommend combining the 2.

Detailed dream you the man💪🏽, so i know its a body wash but does it project enough whereby if someone came near you they would pick it up? Or do you need to layer with the lotion for that effect?

This is my first time finding out there are luxury body washes, first video I seen, you seem to be like me when it comes to getting what you pay for. I’ve tried tons of body washes, everything from target to Walmart. To bars to bath and body work. Bath and body works ocean body wash last the longest that I’ve found, I just want a better for your body no chemicals, long lasting, masculine smell body wash don’t care about price.
I’m currently using Aēsop body cleanser. I like molten brown tobacco absolute for winter. Plus 500ml bottle vs 300ml for molten
I’ve been meaning to try out the Aēsop cleanser.
I have used a variery of luxury products over the years. The best combination I have found is Windsor by D R Harris for daytime and Dark Leather (formerly known as Russian Leather) by Molton Brown for the evening. Also, one of the most complimented body wash and fragrance pair I have used is Escentric 02 by Escentric Molecules - you're welcome!
I really really love the Black Pepper scent its what started my attraction to the brand. I have tried the coastal one also and added it to my rotation. I haven't tried the purple one or the blissful one you talked about. I am certainly gonna check those out

This brand smell so good you will not feel strong but after 1 bath the whole room treated with good smell, but left the body not too strong. I used to a le labo hinoki fan, 😎 but now I changed.

My sister is a big fan of Molton Brown, but I haven't tried any myself. I actually don't mind spending my budget on body wash because I enjoy them every day and I always use them up eventually. My most repurchased are the Aesop Body Cleansers and the L'Occiatane Almond Shower Oil. My current summer favorite is Sisley's Eau de Campagne shower gel. Super herbal scent and a really nice lather without having to use a ton of product.
Aesop is actually on my pickup list. Definitely give MB body wash a try☺️

I knwo this might sound stupid but when using a good quality body wash what is the best way to apply it like a wask cloth or a sponge any answer is much appreciated
I am a huge fan of wash cloths. Easily switch them out after 2 uses. Sponges tend to hold on to bacteria and costs a fortune over the long run.

My top bodywash natural are Sukin for men it’s super affordable and has a list in the bottle what it doesn’t have ….
2nd is brickell just amazing and very natural
3rd is a pure tea tree bodywash for when Work out
For not the healthy body wash brands I use dove clean comfort and deep clean
But luxury would be Molton brown even tho they use sulfates and a list of chemicals
I wish I can make a fruity bodywash like fruity pebbles

Candle warmers are phenomenal! especially if you prefer a smokeless experience with candles. And they are also good if you are concerned about the wax.

Would you consider this soap to be understated? Considering picking up a luxury soap. Only concern is that I don't want it to over project. I tend to use very mild scents because A: I like to wear nice fragrances, or B: I'm at the gym trying not to smell too strongly of anything.

Gotta be honest, there is a pretty hard ceiling on "quality" when it comes to body wash, which is met by brands charging a fraction of what Molton Brown does. Body washes don't leave a lasting scent, not matter what ingredients are packed in there. Hence, $35 for a 10oz bottle of body wash isn't even worth it as a splurge. At that point, you're paying an extra $20 just for the name. Every Man Jack is as quality as a body wash realistically gets. It's one of the most moisturizing body washes out there, cleans as well as any other, and is derived from all-natural ingredients. I get their sandalwood scent body wash, and boost it with sandalwood oil, which actually gives my skin a wonderful and lingering sandalwood scent for a couple hours. Unless you're Bruce Wayne, you shouldn't be $3+ per ounce body wash on a regular basis, put that money towards retirement instead.
I just bought the Coastal Cypress scent and it should be here tomorrow and I am eager to try it. I am upgrading from Black Wolf body wash
