@@simonwinson7495 I have a few here (family pcs) and they're doing a great job. With an older platform the 1070+ and 2070+ are a sweet spot, because you still get 16 lanes of gen 3 pcie.
That was a good review! I bought a 1070Ti, for $456 (US), back in November of 2018 and paired it with an i7-8700K. It was great, at the time. However, when MSFS 2020 launched, the card struggled at 1440p. Hence, in April of 2022, I upgraded to a 3080 (12 GB) GPU. The difference was utterly night and day. Currently, my wife uses the 1070Ti to shop and play PC card games.
Recently put together a very cheap $310 PC with a blower 1070ti and 10400F. Absolutely amazing combo and GPU still holds up incredibly well! 10 Series will forever go down as the GOAT.
Worse case scenario, just turn the resolution down to 720p....sure it's not as good looking, but would you rather have stuttering frame rate at 30fps or smooth game play and possibly 60fps?
as someone who recently replaced my old 1060 with 3060 Ti i wouldnt advice anyone to get a 1000 series card in 2024, i mean sure if u play esport games its enough, but for newer games and games in the future they will be less and less optimized and focused on running it with DLSS, sure u can use FSR but its not at DLSS level i tried it on 1080p and FSR looks very bad. Power consumption may also be a thing for some
Got a gtx 1080 with a 12600k as main pc. Newest games don't seem to be worth a gpu upgrade. With lossless scaling app you can inject games with fsr and or frame gen if upscaling is a must.
I have my 1070ti since 2017, we have spent so much time together that she even has a name 😂 Honestly I have never had a single issue with it. I have optimized the s**t out of it on Nvidia control panel. And I still play Rust, Gta V, CS2, Poe2 and other games with 80~ fps. I absolutely refuse to buy a new GPU for 1-2k €.
So it's 80 quid for this or double for a 3050 6GB then, and this won't lose performance on an older computer. It's a no brainer to me, and a double no brainer if your system is on PCIe3.
I have this card and am impressed of what it manages to do too. But, do you all think it will hold up like this through 2025? I suspect it mostly will but also wanna know what people in general think of this topic. Especially if you're someone that also has it, what are your thoughts? Would you keep it to play new games that come out next year?
Depends on the games and how optimised they become. A lot of games from this year would have been a real struggle to begin with but after a while of patching they work fine on cards like this.
0:01 I own bigger brother of this MSI B650M Gaming Plus Wi-Fi - an MSI X670E Gaming Plus Wi-Fi :D Tomorrow will pass a full month since a purchase, by now it runs great.
Sooooooo I'm on ddr3 and 1070ti 34 in 1440p monitor n I play hunt showdown insurgency cod rainbow six borderlands n I get over 100 fps but I'm also on medium/low
Still using my Asus Strix 1070ti, but in dire need of a new GPU, already moved to an R7 7700 CPU... problem is the 5000 series looks to be terrible value for the money with low VRAM. I'd really prefer 24GB for ~$1000 or 16GB at ~$600, but I doubt we're getting either of those...
Supposedly in the spring the 5000 series nvidia cards will come out and the 4000 series cards will come down in price a little, would be looking at maybe $600-700 for a 4070ti super 16gb.
lol do you even game?.... 46fps at high settings with 1% 32fps is pretty decent at space marine. You dont need high fps in singleplayer campaign. 60 fps is more than enough if you want great experience, heck i lock 30 fps on high when I play singleplayer like RE2, sekhiro cause you want to experienced that cinematic feel playing singleplayer (which i really like). High Fps only matters at competetive to gain competetive advantage(high refresh monitor) other than that its just a waste or power(hear, electricity bill)
Even back then nvidia was ripping off consumers on vram. So this card was like a higher vram version of the gtx970 for 100$ more which is 30% more cause the 970 was 300$
Wasn't this GPU basically a detuned 1080? It's an unsung and forgotten hero, it was great value on release and still offers a world of gaming today
@@aaldrich1982 Tis a great card tbh, got some good results out of it and for the right price it’s a great option for those on a budget.
Nvidia didn't want to lower the price of the 1080 so they released a 1070 ti that was as fast as a 1080 but at a lower price.
GTX 1070/TI have become my favourite budget GPUs. Really great series of cards all around
These FE models also look beautiful.
Still using my GTX 1070 playing Nfs unbound and mk 1 at full 60fps paired with i7 3370 16gb ddr3 1600mhz ram also two 500gb SSD also 650w psu 80w gold

@TechLabUK one issue I have when I turn vsync off in nivida control app I get 110fps but my screen tears a little any help in this please
I still use a GTX 1060 6GB. 😂
I still use a 980m on my laptop lol
now days we have integrated graphics as fast as your gpu lol

I use the 1060 6gb as well never had any problems 16gig ddr3 and an i5 4670 cpu runs spot on for me 👍

This is my favorite GPU all time, value for money. 3060ti is my no. 2.

Got myself one aswell but i preferred evgas blower design for the 1070ti
Short answer: Everything, all of the games. I don't know why there is even a video for it.

Might upgrade to it from my 970..in a few years
1070 ti or 1080 is worth it

That's cool tbh. Love how these things are lasting so long now.
the real problem is the bad optimization from games

The Titan Xp is the king of budget GPU's. $150 dollars USD gets you a GPU that can still hang even with modern graphics cards.
