    I don't see it as a holiday.

Crazy how people are just now hearing about this. Juneteenth was something my family always celebrated, mainly my Dad's side down in Louisiana.

Up until a few years ago it was only a narrow segment of our society that had heard of it. I have a day-by-day almanac of the Civil War, it has no entry for June 19th, 1865. I've read quite a bit about the Civil War and don't recall any mention of Juneteenth in anything I read, until the last few years. Thanks for watching.

I was freed the day Jesus died on a cross.

You really should put your money videos on RUclips. You'd probably make more money from monetization than selling dvds.

We've posted one of our full documentaries on RUclips, and it did pretty well for us. But RUclips pays a tiny amount per ad, and military history videos area sometimes not eligible for ads at all. Unfortunately, even occasional DVD sales are way better financially for us. I would like to just post them anyway so more people to see our work, but we do want to back money spent on the project. Thanks for the comment!

It would be nice to mention the Yankee’s treatment of the slaves when they invaded southern plantations….

The number of things we can't fit in a 5 minute video could fill many books
