Pretty sure my corolla is louder. If you watch similar footage from the v10 era, watch the crowd. These guys/girls watching seemed to be a bit flat where as in the past they were going nuts
@@shichilaofareally depends on the track you go to. One must visit track is silverstone. Atmosphere is electric there and racing is always good. Ive been there once and it was definitely unlike this video. I mean last two years we have heard the crowd louder than the cars themselves. That says a lot.

You cant really hear them coming but one they pass you can hear them for like 20 seconds lmao. Videos dont do it justice, go to a race weekend trust me. Spend the money and just go. Its so amazing.

Hey! It was Gold 3, block E, row 18 seat 29. Acually it doesn't matter where you have seats, every place at gold 3 has exellent view. Hope to see you next year!
@@witje22 Thanks for the info! Bought tickets earlier this week for gold 3 so if will defo see you there if you are, can't wait to go and see them go through Eau Rougue for real. Will be a great view. I asked to be top of the grandstand and to the far right so I can try be high up enough to see the bus stop chicane In the distance too but you're right will be good wherever. Time to work out where to stay now:)

Can anyone tell me how good it is to sit without a backrest? I only know the old grandstand and imagine it to be very exhausting during the whole day. Should I visit another grandstand?
It is hard to make engine contructors take part without some kind of green angle to making an engine, they must be as efficient as possible and a huge amount of noise means a lot of energy is wasted.
Now compare that to the videos from the 2013 start filmed from just a few meters to the left..Damn I miss that sound
