Off topic, but I wonder what the take rate would be if Sony offered a tiny brown box “Body and Battery Only” option. Skip the strap and all the other garbage people chuck. Reduce the box size by 66 percent. On topic, very eager to see how the long term is with this puppy. Some of the improvements are really stellar. If they don’t carry over to an eventual A7RV soon I could see copping one of these for the stills side of things.
I would definitely consider a no frills packaging option, especially if it saved on cost. Yeah, I'm hoping to really put this through its paces in the coming months (it may replace my a7S III on some video gigs, just to test it). Still very early, but so far I'm impressed.
Since I'm mostly a video shooter, the a7S III would still be my #1 choice. But if I did more of a balanced photo/video hybrid or exclusively photo, I'd go with the a7 IV.

Now that you've had some time with the A7IV. If you could only have 1 camera would it be A7S3 or A7IV?
