This was a really good discussion. I particularly agree that this is the easiest SF game in existence, but depth is still necessary to truly differentiate between those who are deeply engaged with the game and those who are more casual players. I've been saying this since the demo was released, I can talk about all the faults in the game for hours. There shouldn’t be a situation where someone who has hardly played the game can go near toe-to-toe with a player like Daigo. Yes, while it is still difficult to beat him in SF6, the gap was much more pronounced in earlier SF games. You can only reward casual play to a certain extent, and it seems that SF 6 has blurred the lines between casual and expert players through misleading features and communications, such as not allowing a player to be demoted in the Master rank, among other issues. This is why myself and others end up calling SF6 this the "all we care about is money" SF game.
Regarding Throw Loop: This is how you can Throw Loops fairer. My idea is based on a "Fool Me Once - Shame On Me, Fool Me Twice - Shame On You" principle. To implement this, the thrower should throw their opponent further on the second (or even the third, if we want to compromise with Capcom) throw. Additionally, a unique short taunt animation should play as the thrower recovers (example, Juri could quickly perform a Taekwondo pose). This added distance and the taunt will prevent the thrower from dashing, running, or using Drive Rush to gain an OKi advantage after the throw.
In terms of programming, Capcom can introduce a flag counter that tracks the number of chains a player has executed a throw to recognise it as a throw loop. In terms of in-game communication/presentation, just as "REVERSAL" and "PUNISH COUNTER" appear on the screen during a match, the game could display "THROW LOOP" or "THROW PUNISH" to indicate that the game recognizes this action and that the player has reached their threshold for that moment.
By implementing this system, the game will maintain its fast pace while becoming fairer for all players.

So here's the question: if the ranking system is flawed, should it just have more rankings like how its just Legend now, but add a couple new MR levels like Legend, Hero, God so it invalidates the master rank no-demotion fuckery, or just wntirely revamp the system .. at the top at least.

I do think they should add more ranks between Master and Legend but I also think that everybody should go back to Rookie 1, too many people were master week 1 of SF6 due to "Gimmicks" of people not knowing how to DI Kens Dragon Lash and stuff like that, so A fresh start would leave players "Stuck" in the ranks they should be instead of 1100 MR masters running around

SF6 is still the least skill based sf even after 2 years. Guess for game guess for game guess for game. He who guesses better wins unfortunately . So many things are wrong with this game fundamentally I don’t even know where to begin. Watching it though as an audience member is the best though because of this. You knew the game was easy when you got Joe blow he blowed ass in prior SF’s are hitting master here and beating legends in tournaments
