I am all in with my deposit for an SJE093. If the 6L37 is as robust and reliable as an eta-2892, then I am not bothered by the price. I do not see any difference with the Swiss and German brands selling expensive Sellita based movements or their own inhouse eta replacements. Like you mentioned in the video, if you want a modern 62MAS, this is the watch to get.

SJE-093. Can't wait for the Worn and Round face off between this and the new Black Bay 54. A little request that you please don't hold back on how well or poorly these timepieces are regulated out of the box.

Except...still no APPLIED Seiko logo on the dial. Bummer. I own an SLA017 and its my favorite of all time. But I still do wish it had an applied polished Seiko logo.
Same here, but the SLA043. It’s pretty perfect, but dang, why leave off that applied “Seiko”.
At least this one appears to have an embossed case back instead of the laser etching.
8l movement, embossed case back and applied dial logo, then I’d be able to pony up for another 62Mas.

It's sooooo good to hear someone confess they can't stand a screw down chronograph pusher. I am not alone. Brings a tear to the eye. :)
That being said, that Bvlgari in marble also brought tears to my eyes, mostly because it fell off the ugly tree and hit every single branch on the way down. Good heavens, that thing is awful. Sorry, but if I were a billionaire, I might drop a stupid amount of money on ensuring Bvlgari would never do that again. Ever.
