Thank you for your message and it is appreciated. However, today is Memorial Day. This day is set aside for those who have given the full measure of sacrifice to the country. Their lives. Veteran's Day is set aside for those who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States. We as veterans owe our lives to those who have sarificed their lives that we may carry on and remember them and make them known to the rest of the country. Why their day is more solem and special than ours and should be treated in that manner. They are the true heroes who have followed in the footsteps of our forefathers.
They pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. They paid that pledge in full.
