Love the idea of giving yourself such a Christmas gift, although I probably couldn’t withstand putting them up straight away!
Your third pronunciation was closest, zwart means black and bles (the s is pronounced) is a large white patch on an animal’s face. Which is exact what they look like!
What gorgeous yarns! I can't wait to see your progress through the year. I was also dream knitting about making a box of socks, but I think this year, since my crafting time is limited, I will knit socks as I can fit them in, and focus on my WIPS (mostly sweaters/shawls).
