Omg sooo good. I had done these almost 2 years ago and they came out horrible. I had 6 boxes sitting in my closet. You nailed it!! Thank you. I’d love to see how to safely remove these
I hope you can get some use out of the 6 boxes. They definitely aren’t cheap 😀 I linked the removal video in the cards and the description box (or I meant to), but here it is again. I have some others in my Nails playlist: ruclips.net/video/VubY9oOw7r0/видео.html
I cannot begin to express my thanks for your nail tutorials! You inspired me to remove my artificial nails that I was having to have balanced at the salon every two weeks and try these and the dashing diva. For the price of balancing them 3 times I purchased a lamp, some strips and the gelish duo. I am now on my second set and very happy with them. The first application lasted one week only because one nail popped off and I’m sure it was because I didn’t spend enough time with the rubber thingy on the edges. Second attempt going strong one week in. Your videos definitely helped shorten the learning curve! THANK YOU!
Jenni, I’m so glad! Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Enjoy your nails. And it does take a few applications to find a perfect way for your nails, so I’m glad you kept going after the first one.
These look so good!! Def going to try them out, I love having my nails done but I don’t have salon money or the free time to do something intricate like dip!! Thank you ☺️
Thanks to your videos I have just applied gel strips for the first time and it went really well! Curious to see how long they last. I never paint my nails or go to the salon, so these seem like a game changer for me 😍
Hi Lucy! Thank you for all your nail videos, there is so many helpful info! I tried Ohora then dashing diva and nailog. I also had an issue with Ohora pilling off at the down edge but I still wanted to use the brand cause it has a lot of gorgeous designs. I tried acetone trick and didn’t like it cause it is messy, then I tried to file that part of nail near cuticle before putting gel strips on with soft side of my file a little, so there is not much harm just to take off the gloss and it worked.
How long ago did you try Ohora? I had lifting with so many of them that I bought in 2020. Then I got more of them a few months ago in 2022 and didn’t have that issue. I asked their marketing rep if the formula was changed but she wasn’t sure since she wasn’t with the company in 2020. I’m going to use them again here soon and if they don’t snag, I’m going to say the formula is likely improved (or the nail sticker thickness maybe or something
I started with them 1 year ago and constantly had that flow for a few months, after that I only used gentle file, but my friend didn’t have this issue so I think it can also depend on nails condition. Mine are thin glossy wet.
Thank you so much for such helpful videos! ❤️ What wattage is your lamp? I have a 54 watt lamp and wasn’t sure if I should still do 60 seconds since their lamp is only 6 watts.. 😬
I’m new to the semi cured gel nails. Your tutorial is really helpful. After watching the video, I just completed applying my first set and everything went really well. I had to quit wearing regular gel nails … my nails were so unhealthy. Hoping these make my nails much happier. 💕
I’m so glad it’s helpful. I find stickers much better for nail health, because removal requires less invasive tactics and it’s easier to take breaks. I try to take about a week off every month to let the nails rehydrate.
I would avoid trimming the sides since the strips are beveled and have thinner sides vs the middle. You can stretch them length wise to make them slightly more narrow.
I don’t have wrinkling on any of them so I might not be the best person to answer this. I saw Ohora has some 10% off specials on Amazon so maybe grabbing a set and trying it would be the best way to figure it out.
It’s a fine line between being as detailed as I’d like and keeping the video a reasonable length. I’m glad you liked that I included it. Thanks for the feedback.
Great tutorial!😊 I heard you mention ohora is not the longest wearing brand gel stickers you've used, so which brand of gel stickers are the longest wearing time that you've used? Love your tutorials ❤❤
Ohora lasts waaay longer for me now with the squish trick - here’s the new tutorial - ruclips.net/video/BSYYEcvhx24/видео.htmlsi=zbtNrS11ciioRlNo Otherwise, nailog is a safe bet: amzn.to/3tRRif8
Hey! :) how do you remove the gel nail with gel top coat? Because I noticed the one you had posted how to remove this was way too old it seems it doesn't have any top gel on ? :)
@@kbeautyhobbit I have tried lily and fox nail wraps and while they are super cute they don't seem to work well for my lifestyle as I work in a warehouse and my use of hands is heavy. Idk maybe it's the top coat I'm using, but they get dents and right where you cap em they start to wear off 🤔I was thinking of trying again but with another top coat and I want to get the one from simplynailogical holo taco top coat! I reccomend watching her lol she's funny!
I was disappointed with these particular strips, unfortunately. I just bought them off of Amazon and found them to be hardened and I was unable to get them to stick properly to my nail beds. I see from watching your video how flexible the strips should be. Perhaps the problem was my buying them off of Amazon and hopefully after I call their Customer Service dept, I will be able to get a replacement or my money back. Thank you for your detailed instructions!🙏
@@kbeautyhobbit Since you add a gel top coat over the gel set, do you still follow the recommended instructions to remove the gel? Or do you need to use another method like acetone?

I like how dip looks on my friends but I looked up some RUclips tutorials and I’m with you - I don’t have that kind of time.

Yes good point. Nail condition and potentially shape as well.
I just purchased 6 boxes of these with the lamp, extra prep pads, and soak off new from Goodwill. Thank you for demonstrating how to apply them!
What a great find

I honestly have no clue. It’s a ColourCure brand from when I used to sell Jamberry 🤦♀️
You can play around by curing the sizes thad don’t fit your fingers and seeing how long it takes them to full harden maybe?
@@kbeautyhobbit thanks for the suggestion! I did that and figured it out. 30 seconds was all it needed, it’s a powerful lamp!⚡️
Perfect!

Thanks for the video. Can you please show how to trim the strip if they are too big? Thanks.
I would avoid trimming the sides since the strips are beveled and have thinner sides vs the middle. You can stretch them length wise to make them slightly more narrow.
Have you tried the polygel nail stuff?
I haven’t. It looks super cool but I don’t think I could do a great job without investing a lot of time into learning how to do it first.
My nails curve a lot.I had originally tried dashing diva mine came out all wrinkly I couldn't get them smooth. Are they strips better?
I don’t have wrinkling on any of them so I might not be the best person to answer this. I saw Ohora has some 10% off specials on Amazon so maybe grabbing a set and trying it would be the best way to figure it out.

I’m working on a video about that at the moment. Stay tuned 🥰
Hello. Did you make the best nail sticker video yet? I love your tips
@vlapinta I have a nail rating video but plan to make more ruclips.net/video/dlwLNJ87xrE/видео.htmlsi=BkaEs9UcirqB_cHA
How long did you cure for?
60 seconds usually

I always have to coat on and there’s no difference in removal
How do you remove them? I wonder how it works since you use the gel top coat as well
I have a removal video in the nails playlist. The gel top coat doesn’t affect the removal

I’m so glad!! Enjoy your manicure
Girl they look bomb 💣 😍 I rather this than pay an arm and a leg. Any extra care you put pays off
Definitely! Cost aside, going places and figuring out childcare, etc is too much work. I can do these at home after the kids go to bed.

It could be the shipping too. Extreme heat messes them up. They shouldn’t be hard.
