You’re very welcome! This was one of my first videos but I have made an updated version in case you want to check it out: How To Record VOCALS With The APOLLO TWIN + UAD ruclips.net/video/UDWSBnV0obM/видео.html
Hi , Amazing videos!...i noticed in this video you don't have the 1176 & LA-21,did you print their sound onto the recording or you just prefer to use them for tracking??
@@derrickmusisi6089 thank you! This was actually one of my first ever RUclips videos (2 years old). I usually record dry and add the effects in post. Here is how I record with the Apollo: ruclips.net/video/UDWSBnV0obM/видео.html
@@homestudioacademy Awesome,I actually watched that one before this one....that's why I hoped for the 1176 & La-2a in your chain.....ooh so they are in the Apollo set up and not the logic...okay,I get it now!
@@derrickmusisi6089 in this video, I used the Logic Pro emulations of the 1176 and LA2A. If you have an Apollo, just use the Universal Audio versions on your DAW
Make sure that the input number is the same as the one you plugged your mic into your audio interface. Also make sure that both your input and outputs devices are set to your audio interface name in the audio settings.
I’m curious. When u started your mix in this video, was the track recorded with your vocal chain that u showed us in the previous video? It was it just a dry vocal with no plugins or chain?
No. On the beginning of this video, the track is completely dry and I added the plugins throughout the tutorial. Also, just wanted to mention that this is an old video and I have updated tutorials on how to mix vocals such as: Get CLEAN VOCALS With Only ONE Plugin! ruclips.net/video/w_wF8T3cpbc/видео.html How To MIX ANY VOCAL Recorded On A LEWITT LCT 440 PURE Microphone! ruclips.net/video/Dv09UhLYYLI/видео.html How To MIX ANY VOCAL Recorded On A RODE NT1 Microphone! ruclips.net/video/9QZt6IDN0PE/видео.html How To MIX ANY VOCAL Recorded On A Shure SM7B or SM7DB! ruclips.net/video/IdPE_heqmtk/видео.html Hope it helps! 😊
