I got it at "Muij" the Japanese shop.its really neat and compact. the tray part is also good, I saw it used in a cafe for waffles etc. Looked really cool
Wow!!! Ericsurf6 and you brought me here with your guy's collaboration video. Love the channel. Ive never this version of sandwich. Not sold in the USA. Looking forward to your backlog of videos and new ones
That looked very delicious, thanks for sharing. My family does not like shrimp, for some reason, but I love it. They only eat it in this tasty Peruvian shrimp soup, which is nice, but they need more shrimp variety, ha ha ha. I will surprise them with this tasty creation of yours, but make it into smaller "sliders," so it's more of a finger food, and I can add other tasty treats, like shrimp chips, and butter/garlic roasted shrimp, ha ha ha. 🤩
@@bentobuster6995 @Ericsurf6 Hi, are you doing good? You both are a great team. Are there any plannings for more colab videos? I would appreciate it. :) Take care and please stay safe and healthy
we don't have anything like that here in the states.... might have to try it, do you just do one coat of panko? and about how long does it take to fry ?
Arran, just watched your smash burger on Ericsurfs, page. Loved the concept of combing 2 meats. Looked delicious, I’m now following you, gonna make some of your foods. Stay safe from Canada 🇨🇦
Yes you can! you can chop my hand too. if you have a blend of the odd large chunky bits with small bits and they should hold together by themselves. just don't mash it in to a paste. Think small to large chunks. the small bits will release moisture to stick it all together
I think I got it on amazon jp or from Bic Camera here in Japan. Processors here are tiny. I have never seen a western size one yet. just small ones, they get even smaller...
Alright, even thought I'm not very fond of mustard or thousand island dressing, I'm pretty sure that I would eat that entire thing because it looks so good lol
I used uncooked. I blitz some in the blender to form a shrimp paste then added chopped chunks of shrimp to it so the Patties are a mixture of shrimp chucks and paste. The paste binds it together. You can throw in whole small shrimps as the chunks. As that’s what McDonald’s have inside their Patties.
Hi yep Bought. You can make it though but I’d rather you concentrate on getting the ebi Pattie correct. That’s the key. But bought is fine. I’ve been here in Japan 27 years and I know my McDonalds items. There are so many at wrong recipes on RUclips. This is as close to the real thing as possible at home. Trust me 👍
Full trust, it's been a while since i've had the ebi burger from mcdonalds and only now learned they have an thousand isle sauce on it. idk if you maybe also know what mos-burger uses on theirs as it was a white ish sauce if i recall correctly :3
@@Sutokid that’s the classic. I used to eat it every Saturday for a period before work. So I’m pretty familiar. They recently did a chilly sauce one which wasn’t good. The keep this one the standard though. It’s always on the menu. Saw a guy do a vid with a tempura one and mayo saying it’s the ebi fillet’o. Soooo wrong. Any way key is a ebi blended paste then add extra ebi for a slight pulse to get a mix of ebi chunks and blitzed ebi paste. And that will all hold together as a patty.
@@bentobuster6995 thank you for the information, when i'll visit japan again i can have more of the ebi mosburger one. For now i'll have to guess if it's a selfmade sauce or tzatziki / tartar sauce as i don't know what the white sauce could be :D
I made these the first time and I made such a mess but now the second time I'm more organised and confident, the patties look so good!! Really does taste like mcdonalds jpn 😂
I love shrimp burgers. I know of one restaurant that serves them right now. Unfortunately they make it too greasy, and it's a premade frozen patty. I may copy your recipe and make it 10 fold better than the premade restaurant version. Thanks for sharing such delicious, delightful meals. I greatly appreciate it. Do you have another job in Japan? What is it? I don't see you teaching English.
It’s my go to item at McDonald’s if nothing new is out. Love it. Smears made fresh when u order it. Make sure u have a mix of mashed and shrimp chucks. The mashed ones bind it all together. The whole and chunks give it texture. Chick in a few shrimp at the end of chuck them up then add to the patty.
Shrisada Read no binder. Just pure shrimp. In a processor pulse shrimp in batches. The texture should be small and big chunks. The small chunks act like a binder
I wish you were my dad. (Even though I'm probably older than you. Lol) My dad couldn't even warm up a can of soup. As always you get a nom nom nommers!!
Mmm yum yum! Coming from a caring heart; next time pl flip away from you in the hot frying oil so you don´t splash on yoursef by mistake and get burn. Wish I could have that in Sweden
Any friend of ericsurf6 is a friend of mine. I noticed you put mustard on your sandwich. I'm trying to get my wife to try mustard any advice. Oops never mind, she overheard me. You wouldn't happen to have any advice on how to remove a mustard bottle from... well you know.🤷🤷
Thank you … I’ve tried finding a shrimp burger recipe and this is as straight forward as you can get. I wish we could get these in the states.
I think they are still the number 1 or 2 most popular burger ( sandwich ) at McDonald’s Japan. A constant favorite.
Very well made Fillet-O- Shrimp!
its one of my favorites, thank you!
I’ve been here for a while but it’s cool seeing you collab with Eric, I’ve always liked his videos as well.
Legend! it was good to catch up with Eric. We work together but with the Covid we have been doing work from home for the last few months.
OMG! That looks amazing. Feed me!
It’s a classic ... yet limited mainly to Japan. .., occasionally Singapore etc
Ericsurf6 - You were already fed with a wagyu burger. Now it sho8ld be my turn to be fed.
I came from Eric's channel. Your content is so informative and well-made. You make cooking look so easy...
Welcome!! I try to make it easy to follow, simple is best for me
I made the recipe today and it tastes so good! Way better than McDonald’s. Thanks for the recipe!
Cheers 👍 in Japan next week they are selling ebi ( prawn ) McNuggets. Like little mini versions on this. Looking forward to seeing what they are like.

Welcome aboard! yeah its limited to only Japan, but I think they sell a version in Singapore or hong Kong now I think....from time to time
Wish they had this here in the states. Looks good man! I might have to try this, even though I don't have anything to compare it to LOL.
I eat it often at mcdonalds. This is pretty much the same thing.
That looked very delicious, thanks for sharing. My family does not like shrimp, for some reason, but I love it. They only eat it in this tasty Peruvian shrimp soup, which is nice, but they need more shrimp variety, ha ha ha.

When it’s deep fried it always tastes good. I always clean up quickly after me so there’s no fishy smells.

great, please give it a go!
Absolute perfection once again, Arran❣️

Maybe one day! I like fil-o fish. Actually used make them at McDs when I was in high school
Nice 👍

Hello Teresa!

Good question! I don't want dry shrimp
So I saw you on ericsurf6's channel. Well now, that hamburger did look delicious. Maybe I need a meat grinder. Great job!

frozen large shrimp, is it cooked frozen shrimp? or uncooked frozen shrimp?

Great to hear. It’s one of my favorites at McDonalds Japan.
You can have the parties with a bowl of rice and Tonkatsu sauce poured on top of the patties as an alternative too
