That was cool. Thanks for the shout out. 😊 Filet-o-fish and McRib are probably the last choice for me on McDonald's menu. Usually I'm not picky, but was served a cold, soggy, Filet-o-fish once and the McRib is McGross and McSlimy. Lol This home made one looks pretty good though.

I try not to be picky about food, but It's one of those things people get hyped for that I don't get the hype for. Enjoy your strange meat product. I think the cheese and the right bun are almost as important as the type fish used.. I like Hawaiian rolls, maybe a bit of pineapple with the fish.. what cheese would pair with that?
Used to get McD's fish filet sandwich and a salad for lunch frequently in the 80s - haven't been in a McDonald's now in at least several years as I prefer Burger King
@@lookcatchu I'm a coupon kinda guy so normally get a Whopper meal but I also like their fish and chicken sandwiches. Maybe you could do a comparison between the regular Whopper and their plant-based Impossible Whopper? The Impossible is quite good but the texture doesn't quite match that of beef, not bad, just different.
@@lookcatchu I like to bread with Jiffy cornmeal and mayo.. normally with chicken but I bet if I wasn't so lazy, it would taste great with fish or shrimp as well. Corn meal seems to make for a sweeter breading. Also, you might try pepper jack with your fish sandwich for that extra kick.
