      There are now a total of 41,415 species on the IUCN Red List, and 16,306 of them are endangered species threatened with extinction. 2:48

      Convention on Biological Diversity concluded that: “Every day, up to 150 species are lost.” That could be as much as 10 percent a decade. 4:28
      We lose one species on Earth almost every hour.
