Welcome back bro was wondering where you was, love the contents on your channel man I am a altezza owner and I also plan to put on a turbo, keep up the good work bro looking forward for a next update
Jack longer thanks man I really appreciate the support! Been doing alot of behind the scenes work but now we're coming back! Do it! Just make sure you do some internals 😅or you'll end up like I did episode 1
Yeah, when VVTi engages it increases lift. I'm doing 3S-GTE rods but stock pistons right now. Good content adn thinking I should start capturing my build soon.
RuisLimppu yeah had to calculate for those high rpm pulls! Oh man nice! I thought about that but the rod heads were too thick and didn't wanna machine them down too much and compromise them. Lmk how that setup goes!
CJ Built I was thinking what happened with You. But You're back. I was almost 90% decided to import altezza rs200 but because all that virus BS and having to much time Aristo and celica gt4 are back into the mix🤯😂. Hope You will get us some fresh content soon. All the Best Brother👍🏻
The piston rings broke because you brute forced it on the piston, you should install it one gap at a time don't go putting the oil ring directly on its slot.
Thanks for the advice! Machine shop tried with the same rings and could not get it on The oil ring expander was not fitting properly on the pistons. Had to go Oem expanders.
It's a common knowledge in the beams community that 3sgte need to be severely fly cut to be able to be used in the beams engine. Borderline removing material in critical areas. Not really worth it. And even at that it isn't safe because once the VVT-i engages, the valve lift is hella deep. I have all the JE piston part numbers. I'll DM you on Instagram.
Yeah 100%. I am trying to find a way to run the 3SGTE internals safely and see the limits. We used a very thick headgasket to eliminate collision with the pistons but we were very slightly off. Doing minor shaving and we will be set and see the performance of them with the head! More of a trial and error to see how it works. Thank you guys a ton for the information and the heads up. Beams community is amazing with knowledge
Its not the timing...he can't use those pistons with that head...he needs the JE pistons for beams or get the 3sgte pistons machines for the valves to clear
Welcome back!

@@CJBuilt noproblem bro thanks man bless
That’s the comeback I’m talking about!!!

Glad there is progress, bro 🥳🙏🏽

Welcome back! We missed you!
Thank you baby! Glad to be back!
Hello! Glad You're back!

CJ Built good luck with the build bro, I’ll stay tuned :)
Good to see ya back man been waiting on another vid!
Check out this page too, heaps of info about building this engine

Not only piston but valve springs too

Where have you been bro? Welcome back!!!
George Altezza doing alot of behind the scenes work! Thanks man glad to be back 🙏🏽
Did you do anything for the timing? I have 1.8mm headgasket adn wondering about this
RuisLimppu honestly took a bit to get the timing belt "on time" but I have not messed with timing at all since the install.
Its not the timing...he can't use those pistons with that head...he needs the JE pistons for beams or get the 3sgte pistons machines for the valves to clear
hopefully you can get it running again soon ! did you run the stock block boosted at all ?
Yeg Uc thank you 🙏🏽. Yeah ran it about a year before I bent a rod at 8psi😅
Holy shit it's been awhile
Good luck bro, like!
TheJustRhythm thank you man 🙏🏽
