This always confuses me when it's brought up, because they're basically the same person, that's reincarnation, just that they have different memories and experiences. At the core I don't think they're that different. I get feeling scared, but if it was reversed I don't think anything would change.
I don't understand shanggu and houchi are not the same person? I thought shanggu died and reborn as houichi? And what is with Qingmu,bai jue and bouxau? I know that one of them is Bai jue somehow but what is with the other character,who is he?
They are not the same person but originated in the same original being/energy. When a true God/ Goddess awaken they tend to take over their reincarnation forgetting also the memories of that reincarnation and of course some of their memories. But later on they will remember everything.
Bai jue loves shanggu in ancient time until now. Houchi doesn't have a father and gu jun (don't know if his name's correct) take the responsibility of houchi when she's still inside the egg. As far as i remember, bai jue is the reason why houchi exist because when the tribulation of chaos and before shanggu turned into ashes she told to bai jue in her next life she don't want to be a god.
I really don't understand the storyline.. i make me confuse and angry 😤.. they are definitely loving each other but why all the confusion and misunderstanding.. 😩 can't they have a loving relationship with a non stress storyline?
