I absolutely loved this drama. I laughed & cried when certain characters died..I thought the ending was good if I understood which I did. The lead characters lived & went back to the mortal realm where they were married in the past. The Phoenix was reborn. I was sad 😔 when her brother that protected always. I would of liked him to come back & the wolf’s wife that was pregnant. In my imagination because he manipulated time to go back that they are still alive.

Though the movie has a happy ending. But it seems that it is not very convincing, not satisfying the high expectations of the viewers because it is too simple for the length of 36 episodes. The couple has gone through many hardships and challenges, with so much pain, loss, betrayal, even misunderstanding, hatred, revenge, and they don’t have many happy moments together. The end of the movie should at least give them a brighter, more beautiful future. For example, a scene of a happy family with the parents playing with their children … If only the film producer could make a few extra sequel episodes like the movie “THE BLOOMS AT RUYI PAVILION” that I have watched.
Well HE. In the novel, its wei zhi who forgotten everything about yan yue. Heavenly emperor so evil, he wants to become the true god who conquers three realms and kill phoenix for it. Yan yue know this, so he plot everything to counter the emperor plan by letting wei zhi become the true supreme celestial and sacrifice himself and the three realm. At last minute, wei zhi know his plan and her-past-self rescued yan yue. WEi zhi wrap herself and yan yue in a cocoon, live and dead together. 500yrs later, the cocoon cracks and they came out of it, but they lost their memories. They thought they must be relative and start journey together. Then yan yue said, they may not be relative but husband and wife because he had the urge to hug her, and wei zhi agreed. They both lost memories and spiritual power and become ordinary human. (P.S: if im not wrong, coz its been a long time after i read the novel. What i love in the novel when Yan Yue said, my obsession in this world is only Wei Zhi. He doesnt love her in her previous life, but this life all her love and obsession goes to wei zhi. He do anything for her even want to destroy the three realm for her, as long as she live).
Would have been a better ending maybe but I think they wanted to suprise us so we didn't know everything. I'd still love to read the novel though. Sounds awesome.

Use auto captions if you have your language set to English that's what shows up. It worked for me. He basically rewound time to when they first met.
