Make sure you carry a spare bolt handle with you! Somehow, taking it out to the field for the first time I pulled it out of the case and the bolt handle had fallen out somewhere along the way and i had to improvise with some paracord until I could get another handle. Otherwise a great shooting gun!
I thought the same thing....just an open slot for dirt, sticks, grass, whatever to get in your gun. I also dont like how the recoil pad literally pops out by hand, could see it coming loose on its own.
Future models should get a carbon fiber peak 44 stock and extended titanium choke/ brake.

How was the name chosen for the Sorix? What’s the backstory?
Wish you guys would have covered the manufacturing of the shotgun for 2-3 minutes.
Birds can see ultraviolet, so it is important that the finish of the gun doesn't reflect ultraviolet sunlight

Trying to make it ambidextrous made it a faulty design. I like everything except that gaping hole on the left side

Also, it would make a great cigarette holder while waiting for geese to come in.

I may be biased but yes. I think you get more gun for the money with the Sorix, it is more like a performance shop SBE
