Absolutely love this video topic! I recently bought Xerjoff La Capitale because it was the “inspiration” for Mula Mula!
La Capital has a more distinct strawberry peach carmel opening, but gives way to the leather and subdues. Mula Mula keeps that gourmand vibe. Both great!
This is silly but I am always so flattered when one of my favorite Influences answers! May I ask you about Byron perfumes? I was a bit taken aback when I found out that this was supposed to be a clone or dupe house, that is why I went with the Xerjoff. I ordered from Italy and actually saved money. I could have gotten the old bottle, you know the one before the red and blue bottles from trusted seller. After this video, I might do so down the line but I have gone way over a sensible budget with my purchases lol! Thanks
This is the first I have heard Byron referenced as a dupe house. It’s sold at Lucky Scent and Krystal Fragrances, which don’t sell dupe brands. Dupes aren’t distributed at retailers.
Lots of fragrances are inspired by other fragrances and trends, just like fashion. If there is a trend, they will all jump on board. Some very high end popular fragrances are inspired by older popular fragrances.
Most middle eastern brands are dupe houses. Some have their own high end frags and also low end duoes (ex Arabian Oud). That’s why I’m ok with American dupe houses like Alexandria and Dapper.
If it’s good quality and smells good to you and on you, WEAR IT.

Any of them will work. Oriana is probably great for that scenario because it starts out voluminous then gets closer to the skin hours later when you want your date coming in closer 😉

I agree that one lasts forever! I did a house overview a year ago, but acquired a lot more since then. The Paisley Dreams also lasts forever.

@@GretaBethme too as it can't get any worst, my dog Romeo passed away on Wednesday and we're still getting to terms with the loss when thiefs broke into our house in the early hours of Friday while we were sleeping trying to steal my car. They came into our bedroom and my husband who is usually a heavy sleeper woke up and chased them to a town 50km away in the car they wanted to steal. Long story short, they ended up in an accident and are now in custody. However, my husband can get charged for reckless driving resulting in grevious bodily harm even though we're the victims💔.

Holy crap!!!! I thought I had a bad week, but yours is far worse! You have my complete sympathy for your situation. I’m flabbergasted 😲 you were violated and then suffered a traumatic loss. It’s awful and scary how criminals have all the protections these days. If we defend ourselves, we end up the ones in jail. I’m not sure I would chase them 50km, but I sure would make them regret coming to my house 😂🤣

One of my favourite gourmands is called Donna Sentenza by perfumer Hilde Soliani. It's a ripe banana cream pie fragrance that's to die for!

I will test Mula Mula again, I don't remember loving it. I adore the cupcake, and the box is gorgeous. I am interested in this because of the cake batter note. Fragrantica just posted an article on Sweet Dreams minutes ago. I haven't read to yet. I blind bought Lancome Iris Dragee. During covid shops kept having great deals so I blind bought 3 Lancome exclusives. The third was Iris Dragee where I stopped the blind buys, it was a solid like, not love. I will test Confetto. I like Anise, yesterday I was out buying Goutal's La Violetta when I tested Caron Aimez Moi. It's gorgeous, I am going to my spice cabinet to see what is the difference between star anise and regular anise. I sprayed the Goutal Rose on my arm for "fun" and ended up loving it with the raspberry and vanilla. I tested Peregrina at Osme in Miami, really nice. Love the red bottle for a change. Informative and fun review as always!!!

You know, I don’t know the difference between anise and star anise either, except I use star anise as dried spice, and fresh Anise as salad or digestive. They look totally different.
I didn’t like Mula Mula or rouge extreme, but I really like and ended buying The Chronic blue and The Chronic red (non extreme, Byron’s naming is confusing 😆)the red smells like those chocolate covered cherries that they sell at the gas station and the blue to me is more cotton candy. Great candy scents 🍭 🍬 you have me curious about Hard Candy!
Yes Chronic Red is what I’m referring too. It doesn’t say “rouge extreme” on the glass, but that’s what it is. I agree the Blue is phenomenal too! I wanted to list them all 😂 and yes, their naming and now new packaging is confusing.

I like philosophy fresh cream, Chloe love story, bath and body works love cotton candy. These are one's I've noticed on girls that smell like food. Also like italica but I think that one I may find intriguing and cozy more than yummy. I also find narciso rodriguez pure musc yummy but it's neither sleek nor food like but it's super womanly.

Gosh I will have to look for my sample of bitter peach to compare. That one does smell of peach but doesn’t smell like a dessert, like the HOS does. I think you will like it.
