I have also wanted to try Navitus! Your channel is one of the reasons I finally accepted my love of gourmand fragrances. You’ve exposed me to so many sophisticated gourmands that I never knew existed in this category! My heart still loves the more realistic gourmands, but that’s because I don’t have access to those more complex ones. The older I get I think “I’m not allowed to smell like candy, or desserts” maybe because I felt like it’s not mature enough?! But I’m just going to wear what I like, and not force just florals on myself. ❤

Great video! I sometimes struggle with literal gourmands, but I love Caramel Pop! I have been wearing it several days in a row. The opening is a bit much for me, but the dry down 🤩 I get a lot of the delicious fruitiness too. I just assumed it's the orchid note?

Pistachio Biscotti is so so delicious. Oh my gosh for the price it is beautiful. Light, sweet and nutty. I find it very comforting. I like to sleep in it. I have the body cream as well and it is like pistachio ice cream! I can’t wait for the BTSO video. I am excited to try a fragrance or three from that house. 😊
I would love the Navitus sampler. I own lost in a Dream and Chocolate Queen. I was just eye balling this new set. I really want to try Gabby’s Baklava as well as Miele Extase. Honey is a favorite note in fragrance for me!

My favorite gourmand is probably French Coffee by Al-Rehab. To me it is exactly what the dried up remnants at the bottom of a coffee cup smell like. The Navitas sampler set is so generous! I've been so curious about Sartorial Nuit!

My favorite gourmands change all the time, but I can say that Kyse does some of the best, hands down, from Gateau de Carnaval, to Delizia di Marshmallow and Cacao Noisette. And the price is definitely right!

It is so, so hard to pick just one favorite gourmand scent but I guess I’d have to say with the weather right now and compliments I get and how much I love it on me also…Blanche Bette! It’s the perfect balance of gourmand and fragrance! Kyse has some of my favorites, Pistache, Dolce Almafi is beautiful and I love Italica also! Born to Standout has so many gourmands I want to try and I love their names lol! Jany and Mallow are two I’m dying to try and I love lemony vanilla’s also! I’m all about gourmands and have a wishlist so long of ones I still want to get/sample! I have to try Caramel Pop bc I love What About Pop, but I trust your judgement if you say this one is better and I’m a fan of Navitus! I’d love to be entered in the giveaway and always appreciate you being so generous! Genre Parfums has the perfect version of the Jo Malone called Ginger-esque!! It’s so beautiful like the JM, but actually lasts and projects!

Yes, I would love to be entered in the Navistus sample set. I also have a daughter who comes into my room and sprays herself with my perfumes before going to school. I love that!! She comes up with great combos that have me asking her what she sprayed because she smells like a walking snack. She also loves gourmands, so anything vanilla and caramel she is stealing from me😊. Wow, Navitus perfumes always sounded so good to me, great giveaway, Chris. Would love that. I am such a gourmand lover as you know. I used to love Stroopwafels before I stopped eating sugar entirely. I love caramel much more than chocolate in fragrance as well as eating. Most of my favorite gourmands are vanilla-based, like Black Opium Le Parfum, which is definitely a favorite.

Oh, it isn't willpower. It's eating so I never get hungry, Chris. Both my husband and I eat almost 100% carnivore, have for years. No hunger, no weight issue, no inflammation. I was a sugar addict for most of my life and if I can do it, anyone can. I was a great baker, though, had a Lemon Lover's Pound Cake that one of my sisters-in-law said was better than sex, LOL.

I would love to be in the running for the Navitus sample set. It sounds amazing! I've been dying to try both Baklava Royale and Mahni Cassonade. Not mentioned in your video but my favorite gourmand this season has definitely been Bianco Latte. There hasn't been one time I've worn it where someone doesn't say "Ooh...I smell cookies!". Xerjoff Italica is a beautiful scent my son introduced me to by bringing me a sample. My husband says I smell like a baked goods. I enjoy it for the warm, almond, milky yet slightly sweet notes. ❤

What About Pop has a base of ambergris or ambroxan that really stands out to my nose, so it unfortunately isn’t the sweet popcorn gourmand of my dreams.

You and Sharida M both recommended the Pistachio Biscotti and Crumb Couture today so I gotta get my nose on those! Also, thank you for recommending Comptoir Sud Pacifique fragrances! I suffer from migraines, and my collection is curated around that. CSP scents, almost without exception, work wonderfully for me and on my skin - always garner lots of compliments! (I also agree that the Vanille Abricot isn’t as long lasting as it used to be. The company denies any changes, but we know 😉.) I would LOVE to enter the giveaway as well! I think Italica is the most gourmand perfume that I own. I actually didn't really like it the first time I tested it because it was way too sweet for me but then I just kept coming back to the blotter and the rest is history 😂 Now I love it! It has one of my favourite almond notes ever 😍

Gourmands are my very favorites - I don't have many right now (can we include my quintessential "Fancy"? 😉) - But I'm loving Devotion (I would still like to try Bake) - and can't decide whether or not to get Bianco Latte as a blind buy... also really interested in Love & Crime, and the Kerosene one that you mentioned - Unknown Pleasures (I seem to have a mental block with that name - I had to look!). Oh no don’t purchase BL blindly. You can get a sample so many places. Love and Crime I believe is discontinued. It’s impossible to find.

On blind-buying - I *thought* I was a white-floral lover, because I adore *real* tuberoses (I grow them every year, in memory of my grandmother, who grew them - the tubers are chillin' in the basement right now, waiting for April!) - and EL Tuberose Gardenia is a "lifer" for me (I just wish it lasted longer) - and I'd just about decided to blind-buy My Way Intense and Born in Roma Intense from Fragrantica (from great reviews on the few perfume channels I follow) - then I was in Cape this week and decided to run in Sephora and actually test these, first (this Sephora doesn't make samples, so I have to be very discerning, which ones I actually spray on skin - or I'll come out with a half-dozen on each arm and not remember what anything is) - I'm so glad I did, because there is a note in both that just doesn't jive with my skin chemistry...is it jasmine? It's a main top note but it definitely *stays*... I was surprised, but so glad I tested first!

Love that this is not a vanilla video. There are so many of those out. I would wear Italica for a hike, why not? Ginger biscuit had awful longevity so I didn't waste my money. I went with Devotion over Bake as I love orange blossom. I layer it with a lemon body lotion. I'd love to win that Navitus sample set. (USA) I haven't tried any of them. Right now I'm wearing nothing as I have covid for the 4th time!!! I've got samples in my cart with Luckyscent now, but I am holding off as I don't want them to arrive when I can't smell. German Chocolate Cake!!!! That is what I request for my birthday. Going to check that out!!

I am relatively new to gourmands. Scents I tested and bought are chocolate greedy and lira. It’s not my intention to build up a huge collection but it is growing it here are a few I blind bought from SUA and they are not my favorites.. I also bought the pistachio yum from kayali and I like it a lot although it tickles my nose a bit and I wouldn’t consider it gourmand.. I think it is a lovely fragrance.
I just blind bought the coffee/chocolate/coconut scent you mentioned. Looking forward to trying it

Hi Chris. You look as stunning as your body of EBK Vanilla n Ruby Intense!!! I know what you mean about chocolate - I'd considered talking about foods I love that DON'T translate into perfumes I want to wear. (I'm looking at you, pistachio, mint, (sometimes chocolate), cherry, almond, fruit in general...). I do enjoy my Chocolate Greedy for sure, and it's probably because, as you say, there's no peach or apricot. Mix with Delizia di Marshmallow and By the Fireplace. Er. Mah. Gerd! You're the WHOLE S'MORE! But the chocolate in Wicked Good is the very best chocolate. Ryan's wearing Wicked Good today (he wears it every Sunday). I wore Unknown Pleasures to bed last night. :) Eternal Coffee sounds insane! My time spent with you is ALWAYS enjoyable! That Navitus giveaway is so amazing! Good luck to all my American friends!
