You probably dont give a damn but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any assistance you can offer me
I couldn’t agree more with you. I own an iPad Pro 11 (2018) since its release. I am a really heavy user since i tech chemistry from it with GoodNotes, liquidtext, webex and zoom calls all the time for many hours a day. There hasn’t been anything that i threw at it and it failed. The performance is just amazing. It hasn’t slowed a bit. There is no reason to get a 2020 version. The only real upgrade would be the a14x or m1 if they dare to put it on an iPad Pro. I am keeping it at least until there is a huge upgrade. The best purchase i have ever made for real. The MK i have bought is also a real real game changer!
I have a iPad Pro 2018 too I enjoyed it so much the Liquid Retina and the camera Is amazing the graphics are good too so your right there’s no reason to upgrade to a 2020 version. Nice comment btw👍
I just bought this refurbished from Apple...under 600 with 256gb. After all of the reviews stating that there really aren't that many differences between this and the newer ones, I couldn't justify spending more. So I get more storage and still have great performance. iPads are so good, and the speed is already great, not a need for the latest and greatest. I enjoyed your review! I just subscribed.
Was in the same spot looking for a refurbished, but had so me luck. Snuck the 11 inch 2020, cellular with 512gb for about 700 (with VAT) on a Clarence sell. It’s not the M1, but hey, still a beast considering the price. =)
Thanks for the review. We need more reviews encouraging people to keep their old(er) tech. It’s better for the environment and reduces overconsumption.
I’m still using my 10.5 inch 2017 iPad Pro and I love it. But I’m interested in getting a 12.9 inch iPad Pro for school and things like that. I can’t decide whether or not to buy a 2018 model preowned or wait for the 2021 model. What are your thoughts on this?
budget will play a big factor. 2018 model you can find pre-owned for $500-$600. The new one will go for around $900. The only noticeable upgrade that I have seen rumored is the mini-led which may or may not be worth it. Won't know until I get my hands on it
I’m still using the iPad Pro 2018 11 inch iPad Pro I didn’t bother getting an upgrade as it does everything i need it to do i use it pretty much every day
I want to get this iPad refurbished over the iPad Air 4. However, this iPad will probably only be supported for like another 2-3 years however, the air will probably be supported for 4-5 years. That’s the only thing holding me back from buying the 2018 iPad Pro. Can you help???
Apple supports their Ipads for 6-7 years. No less. Check out Gsmarena and head to the 6+ year old Ipads. I.E. the Ipad Air 2 came out in october 2014 with IOS 8.1 and is upgradeable to IPADOS 14.6 which is the latest. Ipad Pro 2015 (september) can also be upgraded to the latest OS. So this one will be supported for another 4+ years. Im getting the 2018 Ipad Pro 11 1TB cellular BNIB for around 950e and plan to keep it till they stop supporting it. Its a budget monster.
I have the original 9.7 inch pro and just got an apple refurbished 10.5 pro from 2017 on clearance for £359, but this video is making me think I should have spent an extra £100 or so for the 2018! Great video :-)
I might buy this iPad instead of the iPad Pro 2020 because I’ve had my old iPad since mid 2018 and it’s still fine except that it didn’t have a screen protector and I accidentally stepped on it
Hey Bro , great review thanks! So I got an iPad Pro 2018 12.9 inch 256 gb, LTE for $829 brand new over Christmas. I also got a 2018 iPad Pro 11 64 gb open box for 560$ during Christmas . The reason I don’t plan to keep the 11 inch is because of the limited SSD. My question to you is do you think the 12.9 @ 829 Is worth keeping in 2021? I mainly use it for note taking , web video conference, review documents in pdf, word and movies. Front facing camera quality is super important to me. Thank you very much!
Absolutely, the 2018 iPad Pro will be a great tablet for years to come. Sounds like they will update the display this year with mini-LED... that my entice some to upgrade but I am leaning toward keeping my 2018 iPad Pro because the display is still gorgeous in 2021
is this ipad still worth it in 2021? Im a college student that wants to use this device for work and play and a 256 gb air seems a bit much and the 64 gig air seems too little. Id rather use the money to get something refurbished with a little more storage (128 gig iPad pro 11" 2018) and pro motion but I'm concerned about how long they will support the device with updates. i know the physical device will still last forever though, my dads iPad from 2010 or 2012 or something is still going strong
So the question is, should I buy a reconditioned/second hand i pad pro 2018 12.9 inch now or wait for the 2021 mini led to release? I just can’t wait to be honest. Great video by the way.
Tough choice... You will save a lot of money going the 2018 route. I would personally buy a 2nd hand 2018 and wait to see the reviews of the new iPad Pro and then upgrade in a year or two
Hello, amazing video. I have a question for you. I'm getting a refurbished 2018 256gb 11 inch for 550$ and a new 2020 128gb for 600. I'm confused as I think the battery for the refurbished one might start decaying soon. What do you advice?
Nice video. I also want an IPAD mainly for study and taking heavy notes. Do you suggest that 64GB will be enough or I should get the Pro (128GB with 120hz display) ? Super confused.
If you can afford it, go with 128gb minimum. 64gb is used quicker than you can imagine. My iPad Pro 2020, I brought with 256gb...future proof (at least for a while)😏 /Bklyn👑
Software support until 2023?! Seriously?! The iPad Air 2 is going on 8 years of OS support in 2022 (likely the final year). I'd say the iPad Pro 2018 will easily get support to 2028, at a minimum.
I have the iPad 6th gen and it was my first iPad. I also got the Apple Pencil and I use it for drawing a lot. But my iPad is pretty slow. It about 3 years old and it’s starting to slow down. I looked at the iPad Air and I just wasn’t that impressed especially with the price. If the iPad Air was maybe $450 I would be sold. But at my Best Buy I can get the iPad Pro 2018 model new for cheaper than the iPad Air 4. I still don’t know though cause $500 is a lot of money. And I’ve heard the iPad Pro can bend easily so I’m kinda scared about that,
I hate so manything about it i have 12.9 the ram which u cant deny it always struggle keeping some apps runing at the background, thermal throttle when u edit raw images on light room etc, playing fortnite 120 ref rate will cause also thermal throttle and force the screen to dim so this why i dont recommend the 2018 model to anyone
@@dad.0 yeah, don't listen to this guy. If you spend years developing something you don't change it every iteration once you find the working formula.... You just make tweaks, trying to chase innovation all of the time will leave a company bankrupt. Much appreciated!
Bought my refurbished one just now, hope they don’t stop updates soon
I have a 12.9” 2018 pro. Thing is still a beast and the display is so damn nice I don’t need better.. if that even exists
Awesome to hear!
I just scored a (refubished) 256GB 12.9" iPad Pro 3rd gen for $625 on Amazon last week. I'm excited for it to arrive!
there is no reason to upgrade as long as your ipad are still working efficient and fast

Love it!
Is it bends ?
Agree. I ditched my M1 iPad Pro for a 256gb 2018 model, for $380. Isn’t that a steal?
Bruh that’s insane where did you get that deal?
I bought the 2021 iPad yesterday the camera is the biggest deference I bought bc my 2018 finally broke bc of a bent frame

Usually apple stuff might gets 6 to sometimes 8 years . And also outdated versions are still usable so you would have time
6 to 8 years of updates . So yeah you can use this , i would recommend it to you
