    Although the projector is bi-xenon, I would have preferred you left the inner reflector untouched or installed a second smaller projector for low beam only to improve the light output.

      so true with the inner lens painted black you get zero visibility at night no matter what bulbs u use

    I saw you said use used a grommet in the finished version? Where did you put the grommet to help align the shrouds? I saw in reviews they needed to be shimmers to be properly aligned.

    Thanks for the walkthrough man. But question, I didn't see a high beam get installed.. did you toss them in later, and if you did.. how did they perform in a blacked out housing

    • @StayLurking
      @StayLurking  3 года назад +1

      Youre welcome. And yes, forgot to mention that but the high beam still works as it should. Also The projectors are bi-xenon, so you can have the high beam wired so that the projector can act as the your low beam and high beam if you choose to go that route.

    @etarrmoua8486 3 года назад +3

    Teach me lol. I'm thinking about doing that for my girl's 2015 civic. I just mainly wanna know how to set it so I won't have a problem with having the beam sit super low and not shooting high when maxed out

    • @StayLurking
      @StayLurking  3 года назад

      Its a couple test fit of the headlight on the car before sealing it back together to ensure that you have proper alignment on both projectors. Once thats done, tighten at the projector in place and seal. From there you can then adjust high/low with the adjustment knob on the back of the headlight.

    • @feliiiik
      @feliiiik 3 года назад

      @@StayLurking how do you get it so the cutoff line is perfectly horizonal. Is it just a matter of trial and error by rotating the projectors?
      Just asking since it seems like a lot of work to put the headlights back on the car, testing, adjusting, and repeating.
      Also, was there any dremel work that you had to do?

    • @Rone8Eleven
      @Rone8Eleven 3 года назад

      @@feliiiik I test in house using a power supply before I start the process during and when the retrofit is done so that the cutoff line is perfect to oem standards. Most projectors aim down already so if you don’t test you’ll end up with lights hitting the ground and maxing out ur height adjustment. Good luck.

    i got the same setup and i got the car like that. the driver side though does not turn on right away when you turn the headlights on. I'd have to keep trying, takes a few tries but it works. Any idea what could cause it not to turn on right away?

    • @StayLurking
      @StayLurking  2 года назад

      It could be a few things. First thing ill check is to make sure there isnt a loose connection. It can also be a faulty ballast or bulb too.

  • @aykay711
    @aykay711 3 года назад +1

    • @StayLurking
      @StayLurking  3 года назад +1

      Theres alot of forums that will go more indepth, but in a nutshell - Giving yourself approx. 25ft from the headlight and wall, ensure the beams are parallel to the ground, adjust them by turning the projectors (the headlight is still opened) once you reached the desired aim, seal them up and then reinstall everything. if you install everything back togther without properly aiming the projectors, the aim will most like be all over the place and the only adjustment you can now do is the up/down adjustment from the knob on the back of the headlight housing.
