For most things I buy I do the research and educate myself. I prefer to let the product sell itself rather than have a salesman tell me what they think I want to hear just to make a sale.
@@dana.6695 it’s more about his knowledge of the stuff he is selling that I see as a good thing. I’m the same as you. I do my homework before going shopping but I also see value in getting input from somebody that makes a living supplying equipment.

Thats my dealer and he is Awesome! He is like this with everyone. We have dealers all around us in Alabama and we drive to Georgia because of the service we get from Michael.
I have a dealer that is 32 miles away. I go there because they are just like your guy. I'm just a home owner and I've purchased numerous commercial grade items and he treats me and all of the customers the same. They actually have a contract with the State and still take the time with the little guys. lol. Also a big plus, I noticed he treats the "old timers" with a lot of respect and doesn't just brush them off.
Apparently this guy knows nothing about Stihl weedeaters.. Because Stihl does make 2 stroke weedeaters. Not all of them are the 4 valve. I use the FS94R every day and it's a 2 stroke and it will run circles around any Echo out there. Thanks for the videos!
Micheal knows his equipment better than any dealer I have ran across I drove from Biloxi Mississippi to master mowers and bought nicks old bumblebee and she just rolled 600hrs with zero issues I love that thing I did put the grass flap on it which nick had in stock when I arrived to buy the machine and put tweeds on it but non the less it’s a beast I’m interested in the zxt next and I will drive back to master mowers to get it
I am thoroughly impressed with your dealer. Dude knows his -ish inside and out. He definitely gets it. Knowledge is cool but shared knowledge is GOLD. I'm not even in the industry but would totally spend my money with him.
I wish we had a dealer in the northeast area, that was so knowledgeable and gave a crap about the client like he does, places up here are just jerks and only care about $$.
He’s about as knowledgeable as anyone could be when it comes to mowers. I trust what he says. He has an answer without even thinking. Always enjoy when he’s in the videos.
Great info and advice! I’ve been buying and running stihl for the past 4 years and notice problems with brand new trimmers. Echo or red max is what I’m investing in. Thanks Nick for the great tips and great videos‼️
Nick I bought the SRM 230 and love it alot light and don't make my wrist hurt great advice you give me. The ZRT I bought was the Toro Titan 60 inch my ride due to my medical and love it plus were I was mowing 3 days at home now I cut down to a day and half. It proves that your channel is very helpful to a home owner not just for a guy cutting 60 yards a week.
April 27, 2023… I thought it was funny that he mentioned one customer that’s broken blade bolts several times. You see, I just bought a brand new ZXT 72 and I also had a blade bolt shear off with only 3 hours on the mower. Now to be fair, I was focused on missing a huge water puddle on the right side, but hit a fire ant mound with the left blade at the same time. Maybe the bolt was not completely tight from the factory, I don’t know, but I will say that I’ve hit tons of fire ant mounds over the last 4 years with my Bad Boy Outlaw XP without shearing any bolts. When I reinstalled the blade I checked the other 2 blades to ensure the bolts were tight… and they were. Regardless, I love my new ZXT!!!
Hey felow lawn mowing peeps show this man some love by popping in to his shop if you live close by and show him that you care. Also a shout out to my main man BUT BUTTT BUTTTTT Nick aka Sensei Nick the master. Keep up the great work my good man.
I had an idler pulley fall off the back of my 54" mower deck. It turned out to be a defective junk quality single bolt that sheared off at 75-100 hour mark.
That is very interesting about what he is saying about Sthil weed wackers. I have a FC56 (i think) and sometimes I had power problems with it, like full power and it lolly gag around and did not produce any power and I took it to my dealer (big waste of drive and time) and they were blaming it cause I am not using the guard and it is stressing the head blah blah blah. well I did not push it cause it was at end of the season anyways. But it is acting up some now. I may look into the Echo. I just do my own yard. They need to be trimed out and tune precisely
I need to buy new trimmers for a lawn care business. I thought Echo but then I noticed most businesses are selling off their Echo for Sthil. Most have not gave a reason but a few said the new Echo were dripping oil out of the exhaust and Echo wasn’t fixing them. After watching this video I’m not to keen on Sthil anymore either. What do you commercial use people recommend?
Man. I was glued to this video. Yep thsts why i went to husqvarna 20 % flet deal. And its the same as redmax.. llooks cooler. Lol.. yep i got to big droped customers to make more money..
This is the best video you have ever done Nick. I will see this guy one day at Master Mower and hand him a bag full of cash for the exact same mower. My 2013 Wright Z has 1700 hours on it and just won't tear up. My 2017 ZK has 800 on it and no signs of slowing down either.
I like Stihl but I run a Husqvarna. It's either one or the two that I will run. I don't like echo there cheap made had a brand new echo to try it and the trigger broke, hard to start out of the box. Unless you like hanging out at the dealers, stay away from anything redmax. They have the most finicky carbs I've ever seen. Gas mix that works just fine in all my other equipment by stihl and shindaiwa consistently causes my 3060 to surge and every time I take it to the dealer they just tell me it's bad gas. I've been doing this for over ten years and this is the first machine that's given me this much trouble. Just get a shindaiwa.
I don't really understand what he's talkin about I do run still product fs100 and I never hold it wide open 2 trim if I hold my weed eater wide open it's too much

Don't go redmax! They are very picky about the gas mix. Very picky.
Keep in mind that Shindaiwa/Echo are essentially the same machines now. Echo owns both companies.
