    Key points:
1:15 Shut up and listen to advice, even if you are bigger and stronger than the other guy. They are being nice and genuinely want to help you, try out their advice and it might just work
6:42 Take a step back. Sometimes you need to pay attention to your future self and be patient. If you overwork yourself, you will pay for it and it will affect you negatively. Pay attention to rest and the big picture, look forward a week to a few months and even years from now to know when to take a step back and take a break
13:12 Lifting always correlates to life. Mistakes and lessons learned in the gym can help you avoid the same mistakes and know the same lessons before they happen in life itself. Keep your head up and take the lessons you learned seriously, they might just help

Thank you for your transparency and being real. This is good advice for anyone in powerlifting. I'm currently prepping for my first meet. And I can relate to that frustration about missing a lift and then overworking yourself, thinking it's gonna make a difference. I hope you share more of your experiences in this sport.
Love the content to keep it coming 🫡💪

Your max bench is my max dead lift so HELL YA bro that's SOLID AF. That's a QUARTER TON bro, sounds badass when you think about it like that. I don't think I'll ever get to that weight in bench, I'm a puller, not a pusher, and that's my theory, some people are pushers and some are pullers and I'm a puller (no homo) all day. Keep posting your content brother we're enjoying ya! 👊
Edit: dunno your age, but when you get closer to your 30s, consider getting on that gear. Nothing nuts, TRT level testosterone with a dash of Deca and/or EQ and you'll thank me later, you'll feel amazing and your strength will go through the roof. Just keep it moderate and you'll be totally fine

HI BLAKE , Hey man just wanted. to reach out to you and say I'm new to your channel but I'd like for you to know that at your age. and the number that you did in the bench is is commendable Don't be so hard on yourself. Also, I'd like to let you know. that I am a 9 Time All Time WORLD RECORD HOLDER In powerlifting. squat. bench and total. I trained At famous Westside Barbell in Columbus, OH for nine years. I do online coaching now. I'd like to say this and give you this opportunity to give you some free game. Let me know. if you want to take up on this offer. I'll give you my email. You respond to me on here and let me know. I just don't want to leave my name on here. because this is the second channel. This is not my main channel for my lifting You seem like a very Down to Earth guy so. I figured I would leave this open for you and trust. me, I have all the receipts to prove my lifting.. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you.

What ever you were wearing do not ever wear that again.
