- I wanted this video to be special, not only to show the history of the Cortlandt street station, but to honor those that lost their lives on 9/11.
Never forget
Next video will be Castle Hill Avenue on the 6 train

Thanks for watching
It was probably one of their first runs on the 1 train, entered service on May 29, 1985. This is so cool. 😊🤩👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 R.I.P first and original station July 1, 1918 - September 11, 2001. New and second station: September 8, 2018 to present in 2025.
Never forget
Beautiful 😢 R.I.P. Eric Evans my Superman forever.
Who was Eric Evans?
15:45, August 21, 1989, the 9 skip-stop service is inaugurated with the 1 train.
It would be really cool to a treatment like this for the old South Ferry loop if it’s possible; including both the inner and outer loops and including the Bowling Green Shuttle
I could definitely look into that, just keep in mind that these evolution videos take time to make so it will take a while but luckily I do have a route that does use the inner loop but there’s no stop so if anything I’ll just have to improvise with that but that is a cool idea when I get to doing the video do you also want me to include the new South ferry station or only just the loop?
12:40, Wait a second, that R62 that showed up was brand-new if the year in the video said it was at 1985.
Yes Jaden let’s give your old stop some shine!
graphics on that last shot are spectacular
God bless america, and a history abt cortlandt the station was built from the ground up so they demolished the original station then got rebuilt to its current state. again god bless america
