I purchased one 2nd hand but it didn't come with the instruction manual... I wanted to find the Bluetooth speaker setup instructions so I search and find your video. Thank you! Now I know! I have subbed 👍
Bought the product just after watching it... thanks for the review. This was really helpful for making up my mind... Thanks once again. I got my perfect guitar ❤❤
Thanks, your honest deeper dive review highlights on how to use the product and making it more appealing to me as a musician picking up guitar to learn and hopefully enjoy. Good work!
Thank you for this comprehensive video! I was looking specifically for the backup part and all videos I have seen before yours did Not cover it. You have my upvote 👍
I bought one they are the best guitars I've ever used and ideal for busking, especially if you suffer from back pain and arthritis, the lightweight of the instrument is perfect and the size means I can get on the bus easily with it. It's great to play too and so comfortable either sitting or standing.
Excellent video, thanks! Key takeaway for me, no need to buy a separate tuner, the app has it and it is probably even more precise as it gets the frequency reading directly from guitar's piezo element located under a saddle. I wonder if it is possible to change the battery inside this guitar down the road? Eventually it is going to wear out and we don't want this to be a "3 year guitar" like our cellphones.
Is that Mark the Window Cleaner?! I just got a Nova Go SP1...its sweet! Best little travel guitar ever. Cool seeing you expanding your YT horizons other than WC'ing. From a fellow window cleaner & guitarist hats off, enjoyed this video! That guitar almost fits in a Ninja Boab by the way 👍

I saw some of your other reviews when I was deciding if I would buy it or not... O received it two weeks ago and I'm really loving it, though I'm such an amateur.
Thanks for this review. I got this guitar for ‘Christmas’ but have as of 1/7 not opened it. It is a gift and due to illness in the family we have yet to gather, decorate the tree or open gifts. Ridiculous isn’t it? Still, I’m glad for your positive review - I was under the impression that the battery life was two hours so this is great news to me and the rest of your demo was useful as well although I’ve probably seen two or three dozen other videos on the subject. I can’t wait to add this to my collection of other guitars, as an early Mac user I find that this little sound machine has an almost Apple like appeal. Thanks again, Merry (belated) Christmas and good job !

Mine was working perfect on my phone then I changed to a new phone and it no longer connects. I use foot pedals anyway there more reliable than software apps. I still love the guitar though.
It gets remembered in the both. You can then use the app at a later date to go back to the default. Also, it saves the new custom preset to which ever location on the guitar it was set at, at the time of preset creation. Example, if you turn on the guitar then toggle over to the purple setting on the guitar, connect to the app and save a custom preset, it will always be assigned to the purple location on the guitar. So next time you turn on the guitar (it always starts at green) just hit the button enough times to get to the purple location and voila, your custom preset.
Hey I noticed that the inbuilt bluetooth speaker inside the guitar is not that loud when you play any song through your phone. Is it with my guitar or is it the same with every Enya sp1 go?
Unfortunately when I’ve asked Enya, their reply is, It’s very simple but you won’t need to change it for a long time.” I wish they could be more detailed. If/when I get that info, I will do a follow up video.
Is the builtin batt a replaceable Li-Ion 18650? Emailed Enya about that but got no response whatsoever. This is the only thing that's keeping me from buying this.
Usually this type of preamp have a 18650 battery. Don't think it's no way to change battery in this guitar. You can put out the preamp and jack/usb plate. Btw: Order same guitar today)
@@DenMayor Nice! Hope you upload a vid showing the innards of that preamp. So many reviews but didn't see a single one bother doing any of that. Will appreciate it very much.
Absolutely important point! We have to think 12 months ahead. If we can't replace a battery and if we don't get any new strings, we can throw an instrument away, no matter how nice it was on the first day.
I’ve had it since July. Having trouble getting the battery to charge. I’m still under warranty but it would have been nicer if the battery was a standard 9 volt or AA’s like my other guitars.
@@Kunibert_KnatterWell it certainly does suck if you can't replace it, but it's still an acoustic guitar! It might be wasting about $90... But a lot of people are really happy with the version without the electronics
Thanks for doing both videos. I've had my SP1 for over a year and really love the guitar. I have a favor to ask. Would you mind sharing the settings for your Chorus effect? I really liked it. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!
Glad you’re still loving your guitar after a year. I’m really enjoying mine so far. Here are the settings for my custom chorus preset: Mixer Tab - effects level set at 32 Eq tab - from left to right- 62hz at -10, 125hz at -2, 500hz at 2, 2khz at 8, 2khz at 2 Effects tab - reverb at 46, echoe off, chorus rate at around 9 o’clock and chorus level set to lowest (between 6-7 o’clock) Whah effect off Compressor at 29 ( 12 o’clock) Hope the above makes sense.
@@NowYouKnow007Thank you very much for the custom chorus preset that u had share with us. Appreciate that. I did it on mine too. Loving it every moment. By the way, can u also share how to add those drum machine bests into the guitar. Have been figuring out for awhile but just couldn’t do it.
If I understand correctly, you want to play the drum beats through the guitar through bluetooth? If yes, then you need to double click the on/off button on the guitar to put it in bluetooth pairing mode and then go to the bluetooth settings on your smart phone and look for SP1-G_Audio in the list of new devices and select it. You should only have to do this one time and in future should connect to your phone automatically. Once connect bluetooth that way, go to the Enya app and select tools, and then drum machine. From there you can play the default drum patterns or change them up, speed up or slow down the tempo. Hope that helps.@@snw3869
With the guitar turned on, double tap the on/off button and then you must go into the bluetooth settings on your phone and make sure you connect to it there. After that you can play music through the guitar’s built in speaker.
The guitar action came super high on the 12th fret others saying same do you know to adjust can do Allen key to solve that or do have to shave the saddle ?

I'm not sure that they have an equivalent app for android devices, cuz without being able to customize anything, I might return it to Amazon.
Thanks, I bought an Enya guitar with no manual even though it was new. So if I use the app the guitar saves all the changes internally?
Yes, until the next time you reset it.
Question: when you create or modify a preset, does it get saved IN the guitar or must you have your phone connected in order to use it?

can you connect the bluetooth to EXTERNAL BLUETOOTH SPEAKER instead of the built in ?
SO it lasts prolly one week with an hour or two practice a day? And two hours to charge? Thanks

How do you change the battery in the Enya sp1 and is it expensive?
